***** maybe sword and shield is a bit too basic for most but its one of my favorite! Love the fact that you can do an Aerial attack below or above an edge! And also i never knew that! Awesome!

SikeNaw Gaming Not only that, but you can do two! A+X to the ledge for an upward slash, then X again for a downward slash. Also, you can use items with your weapon drawn. Sword and shield is a fantastic weapon.

+Im A Fork the Quality is only remotely of interest,for example have a rare 8 charm with 50hp Bonus and 2 Slots and sometimes i get rare 9 with expert+3 something minus 8-10 and no slots

Calvin Elite It is a really good set to use - I used Tetsu low rank till I hit high, then got the high rank Tetsu set till I got to G. There's no point getting loads of armour sets at low rank as they become useless later on, so I'd recommend sticking with what you have for a bit :)

i went with azure rathalos armor for crazy dps, but i wouldnt worry too much about armor in low or even high rank. just use what ever gets you to g rank then go nuts with those armors

Besides leather sets, you'll most likely trash your low and even high ranked sets down the road. Don't worry about your armour. Not until G rank, at least.

The darkened numbers are the element or status the weapon will have when you use the awaken skill and how high the value is.

it was only introduced in 4th gen so it makes sense it wouldn't be seen in 3 or 3u.

At low rank, your gear doesn't really matter. Tetsu and nerscylla are actually some of the best low ranked sets, skill wise. If you're struggling with low ranked G Magala, then it's really just yourself that you need to hone.

ALL of those are better than nerscylla tetsu shit, i fought low rank g magala with gurupeco armor (260 defense) and hurricane (196 damage) and won in 15 min, so have you heard of GATHERING HALL? do hr 2 - 3 quests with random people and u get good stuff, you can even fight gore magala with random guy with best armor in the game (wait for him to kill the monster) and you just carve the parts to craft armor/weps. you should download the "hunt 2 rathalos" dlc and find people to kill em for you so you can craft rathalos armor

You can get them from mining at a rare chance, expeditions have a higher chance
