This game is fun, I can play 10 mins here or there, or while I go for a walk. The main thing I'm thankful for though, is that it caused me to get back into MH Rise again 😄
Same for me lol, except it’s making me really really wanna play world again. Rise just honestly didn’t click well for me. Grinding world in lockdown was such a peak mh experience for me, the title updates at the time were all sooo good.
@@timklafke4712im actually amazed how the two games with the same base mechanic can attract two exact type of a player judging by this comment. I mean it's normal tho i just find it pretty cool
Great sword players should be using Gyro controls. It's basically essential for Greatsword. You have way more control over your charged attacks ! You can basically 180° a TCS and be more consistent with your charged attacks
Another move I found that is pretty well hidden: after a shoulder tackle, you can just tap the screen instead of holding to do a "leaping wide slash", which keeps the charge from before the tackle (just like in the main games). It allows you to hit targets that are pretty far away, but it does leave you open for a good while after it.
Anyone know how to do the basic two tap attack where you smack the mon with the side of blade after the first hit? It was the basic two tap in World, but it's different in the game. I've don't it accidentally once but I don't remember how.
@@yann5546yeah that's right. I managed to recreate it after dying five time to a fucking paolumu. I wish they'd add in dummies and practice mode or something
How do you unlock this weapon I passed hunter rank 15 and still nothing is there a certain quest to complete I really want that great sword power tired of sword and shield lol
Thanks for the tips for Great Sword. Helps me a ton. Quick comment on the tip to 'tap forward' to shoulder charge. It seems 'tap' would cause accidental attacks. I think the better explanation would be to 'swipe forward' to shoulder charge.
Instructions were pretty unclear to me how to perform a shoulder bash, you don't let go after charging you just hold your finger and swipe up. I had to check another video to understand but thanks to you I at least know it exists. Great video otherwise! Edit: After listening again you actually explained right first then messed it up. I was more focussed on the explanation the second time.
By how much does the shoulder tackle reduce damage? I did not know there was, and it seems to reduce damage by a LOT (against paolomu, only 3 HP lost when you shoulder chargeed through an attack, but the next attack blasted through of your 60 HP!) Thanks a lot for teaching us new things!
Hey bro! Idk if you remember but you were selling a gtx 1080ti graphics card a while back. Well I was the one who bought it lol! Glad to see you’re doing well. I remember you telling me you were streaming and I thought you were “deer gamer” 😂. Well anyways I started playing this game now, super stoked that your videos popped up in my feed! Looking forward to your other ones! Much love!
Element is crazy strong and yes on GS too. I got way faster time on 5* Paolomu with Anja GS than with a raw GS. Try it, test it, but elements are definitely helpful in Now
Honestly the Great sword needs a buff to be more viable. Unlike other weapons it just uses too much HP. Maybe skills in later pieces of armor. I hope for better GS for everyone
@@EurrikkeEdward you lose hp when you tackle through, even if it is . And you kinda need to use that move and trade hp to deal damage. The other problem is you have less reactivity. Fuck up your attack and boom you are mid life. Be too careful with your slash and you never score a hit. With s&s you often have time to react. Learning GS lead to a lot of potion loss
