I'm sooo incredibly hyped for this. The first one was a hidden gem on 3DS but i never expected a sequel, yet here we are! What a great time to be a MH fan. "I'm so glad you're still alive. I thought i'd never see you again." Indeed.

The first game was the best goddamn pokemon game I played. I'm so glad a sequel has come. Please don't withold update content from the west again, though.

I want character customization in Stories 2. There are hardly any RPGs on switch with character customization. The customization was what made the first game so special for me. I want more games like the first game.This sequel looks nice, but it doesn’t feel the same. I also miss the made up monster hunter language that everyone spoke in.

They told me it wouldn't happen, but I'm so glad they were wrong.

The only game that fulfills my desire of have a monster hunter monster as a companion. The moment I saw monster designs in the 1st monster hunter. I never really wanted to hunt them, rather have them as a friend is much more interesting.

I hope that the rite of channeling will be in this game as well with slight adjustments to make it easier to build the set you want. If they remove the colour change from monsties that have had their element changed I'll be disappointed. Will the great poogie return I wonder

I am so freaking happy stories 2 is getting made. I was scared it wouldn't or at least not get sent out internationally due to it lackluster sales in the west (since we didn't even get update patches for Stories 1 after a while because of it), but here we are, and with MH Rise too. And to think, my bank account was looking Ok just a few moments ago-

1st Monster Hunter was heavily underrated I personally think that it outshined Pokemon Sun and Moon but I’m so excited it’s getting the long awaited switch sequel finally gets the spotlight it deserved

2 MH On one day, OH MY GOD.

You know, I bought the first Monster Hunter Stories just because I wanted something to play on a 10 hour flight, and I was like "Eh, this looks cute, good enough." It ended up being one of my top favorite 3DS games, and my favorite game that I had played that year. So I am VERY excited that it's getting this sequel, and I can't wait!

Okay, so are we gonna see Lute(Male MC) and the rest of the gang in this game? Hope so.... That scar-face rathalos tho. if the 1st game characters gonna have a cameo in this game, i wanna see an interaction between that adult rathalos and Ratha(1st game rathalos) and ofcourse and interaction between 1st game MC and this game's MC

SO freaking happy!!😍 I've always hoped there'd be a sequel to MHS. I fell in love with the first game the minute I randomly tried the demo and heard the amazing battle theme in the first area. When I felt that sad sense of longing as I finished the demo I knew I was hooked and I had to have it. It's my only kinda experience with the Monster Hunter series, even though it's not like the main entries I enjoyed getting to see alot that's in those games like the monsters and certain characters. Monster Hunter Stories is just way more up my alley, I just beat it last year so I'm PUMPED for this to be announced so soon after I finished it. Can't wait to Ride On again😁

OMG. I’m crying right now!!! I really enjoyed the first game and was hopping for a sequel.

Just like I put on the Capcom comment section of their MHStories announcement vid: thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, for bringing MHStories 2 to the Nintendo Switch, Capcom and Nintendo. This is the best new this year. Not that it really mattered for this release, but I love the original so much I even dropped off a plea for the 1.3 and up patches and a sequal at Nintendo of Japan when I got the chance at the start of this year. I am glad the mobile Stories game wasn't the last we heard of Stories :D Day one for me, obviously. Also, we want all the content Japan also gets this time around!

OH MY GOD-when I tell you I TEARED UP

Personally, I *LOVED Monster Hunter Stories (3DS)* and consider it a "hidden gem". Unlike traditional MH games (which I personally don't like), I just love the *monster raising, monster riding, colorful world and turn-based battle system* of Monster Hunter Stories and if this new entry is like the original Monster Hunter Stories 3DS game, then it's a *day 1 purchase* for me for sure! (Sorry Monster Hunter veterans, but I choose to be a *Monster Rider,* not a "Monster Hunter")
