I love how all the monsters just instinctively knew that the hunter is a major challenge, despite their small size. An apex predator will only draw up to their full size and roar as a show of dominance when faced with something they consider could be their equal. Like a lion doesn't roar at antelopes or zebras, it roars at another male lion that intrudes on its harem or a pack of hyenas that wanders too close.
Well of course. The hunters are filthy humans. It's a tale from real-life. Animals like deer and wolves are terrified of approaching humans because of what we do to them
@@ZeroWildFyre Deer and wolves aren't nearly as big as the monsters here, besides, I'm talking about them "squaring up", not just being apprehensive. Also, humans also do terrible things to elks, moose, oxen, bears, cougars, and whales, they don't seem too bothered to haze us nonchalantly.
6:42 T-rex break outttttttt!!! 7:24 Volcanic turtle with T-rex's roar 7:38 Titanus gojira nergigantus 12:43 Giant bat with ghidorah's roar 13:59 Big red dog 15:26 Rodan but in dragon version 29:10 Titanus ghidorah safijiivus's hatchling
Man the rathalos just always gets me: Piercing through the smoke and cinders of its own mighty flames is the king of the skies, The rathalos with his own theme and everything
The pink Rathian cutscene also has the old jungle music from mhf playing. Last MH game I played was 7 or 8 years ago, hearing those musics again in world's cutscenes was so nostalgic
Cross Bones by the way, Great Jaggi is the FIRST bullied monster in the series. He's been bullied by Rathalos, Deviljho, Barroth and several more and yeah I miss him too
@@SrValeriolete It wouldn't. Lava may be hot, but it's not so hot you'd burn up just from standing next to it. It'd just be uncomfortably hot. With sufficiently heat-resistant shoes, you can even stand on lava and be perfectly fine.
I think it might depend on the lava, but I've things being set on fire just by standing next to it. Well, I guess there's probably a huge range of temperatures for molten rock, it might depend on the composition aswell. But specially the most bright and fluid ones must be hotter.
But yes, maybe with special equipment. I get that they need to make the lava fluid and bright so we know that that's lava also. A black lava flowing would look like tar.
Ty Morgan not for me really he’s my most killed monster I’ve killed him 80 times because everytime i complete a build he’s my test dummy if I kill him 2-4 minutes it’s a good build if I kill him 7-9 minutes it’s a decent build if I kill him 10-15+ I probably will never use that build ever again unless I’m helping friends that are new to the game.
+Fiend Matador Slayer of a Thousand Noobs a couple of times i've seen an Anjanath meet a Rathalos, they never really fight as much as kinda roar and dance around each other
Mattia Berti MonHun actually has a ton of lore in it, it's just not expressed directly in-game. However, pay attention to certain armor/weapon descriptions...
@@thebaseandtriflingcreature174 good story but suffer from pacing because of gameplay choice resurrection have so much padding that it feels a drag at some point mhw though all though have not so great story but it does more well in presenting it.
Zero Of the Black Knights it seems you haven't heard the legend of Plesioth. He was the first Piscine wyvern and his hip attacks hotboxes were beyond broken. He also liked to reside in oceans, far beyond even a blowguns reach. He was high unstoppable.
BigFoot is the real and he tried to eat my ass but your not realizing I'm a mh vet played every single mh so far and got hr 999 on everyone no monster is hard anymore all you have to do is watch there patterns
The one thing I always enjoyed through this game is the multiple monster that they introduced in cut scenes and your first thought being “oh...fuck.” Few best examples are the anjanath, the diablos and my personal favorite when you go to fight Nergiganta and he busts through that crystal wall like the deadliest kool-aid man.
PK Master it’s like let her die she’s so annoying one time I was doing deviljho’s special assignment and her stamina was running out I was like let her die let her die!
17:23 me when I’m mounting a monster and someone flashes my mount down and it cancels it (Diablos is me and the barroth is the person who flashed my mount this explains my anger)
@@SkittlesTheParrot What device are you playing on? I use xbox if you need help, although if you have online capabilities, you should be able to just SOS flare and get others to help. In terms of solo advice, I would like to know what equipment you’re running just so I could understand what would be best for you (unlike just giving meta options which are opposite of your play-style)
Most of the returning monsters are classics or regarded as some of the hardest fights in the franchise. The three you listed are fairly new, and aren't really held in the same regard as some of the ones coming back to world.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Gore Magala isn’t that recent, plus you’re forgetting that Shaggy is an Elder Dragon which given that world is all about Elder Dragons it would make sense to at least see shaggy
if u have strong physical defense and a powerful dragon weapon then it makes it a bit easier. if u don't have something that does high dragon damage then i suggest something with high blast damage
@@Sementery_ Vaal Hazak isn’t actually a zombie, and is very much alive. He simply wears corpses on his body to attract and hold the effluvium near his body.
these monsters are very well designed. Everyone of them look like a boss. But the real marvel here is the guy's armour. Burning lava? no problem, just cover my face with my sleeves! Poison and acidic lizards? Cover my face with my sleeves! Piercing ice shards? Cover my face with my sleeves! Dragon that shoots lasers? I HAVE MY DAM SLEEVES
I alwaya felt bad for hunting Kulu in that quest, he didnt do anything but steal a few objects and he was scared of me :( but i chased him and decapitated him anyways
Do you believe that the hybrids of jurassic world evolution 1 and 2 (Indominus Rex, Indoraptor, Scorpious Rex, Spinoraptor, Ankyloducus and Stegoceratops) would be able to survive and / or thrive in such an ecosystem ?
Of all the cutscenes, that Pink Rathian is especially lit. Hate fighting her but there's something truly wild about that scene where she's barrelling after you and your poor wyvern-carrier.
The Late Gamer it's AMAZING. Most bosses are a challenge, for me anjanath was especially a challenge. I failed at least 8 times. (there's 2 faints until you fail the mission)
My first MH game because I mainly played ps and Xbox growing up but I remember starting the game and saying "oh hell no what is this giant lizard? I am NOT fighting that!" Then about 10 minutes later I quit the game for a month after seeing Mr T-Rex boi. Finally picked it back up and went on to Speedrun all AT elders. Game have me chills and feelings unlike any other.
Been playing monster hunter since the PSP era and I honestly cannot wait to fight all the nostalgic and new monsters. Tigrex where you at, Nergacuga where you at, Super saiyan Rajang where you at though. Cant wait for all the additions. For real though is the "biggest monster" in this game larger than shah damaladur. Feels like shah would just wrap the sucker around and eat him at his own leisure.
BrightStarAlpha Zorah Magdaros is confirmed to be the biggest monster in the franchise. Even while fighting it, it's easy to tell this thing is MUCH bigger than Dalamadur.
Zorah has the largest mass, but Dalamadur is probably longer. Btw, take a closer look at the Rotten vale, and I think youll realize that the dalamadur is kind of small :)
Who else feels like for a monster hunter game the amount of Monsters feels kinda small, I mean sorry I know making a game like this is hard but..... still Correct me if I’m wrong
Jonathan Torres yeah it might have the smallest cast of monsters of any game ;-; But now that they have all the models and experience with the new engine i beleave the next game can have way more
Azurelightning Actually no it does not, MHTri had only 18, but your right this is a new game unless if they held off the game for summer, they probably could of made 5 more.
