From a design and ecology standpoint I love kushala. Can't say the same about his trollish fight.

Kushala's theme is actually pretty damn good. I think Worlds is an improvement by quite a lot, I really do enjoy listening to Kushala's World theme. Unfortunate for most players its overshadowed by the extreme distaste for Kush while fighting it.

IG main here. Ground IG? Nope, windblast Air IG? Nope, wind around wings knocks you down Kinsect attack? Uh.... GO BUG GO!!!

Ah yes, the "must have windproof 5, stun res 3, earplugs 4, flinch free 3, protection 3, no deflect on hit, flashpods or f*ck you" dragon

This is the epitome of why sometimes reality doesn't translate well to gameplay. If Kushala really wants to survive they would fight like they do in World. Cause it makes sense. Doesn't make it fun though.

You guys haven't had a truly epic battle against this guy until you defeat him with an Aqua Basher II.

Kushala theme sounds like its something from Legend of Zelda. but was a fun fight except for when it flies up to its home where it just does tornado after tornado making the arena just a tiny little spot of death

He literally had one twister lock me in a dead end where I had to run to the back and hide until it left ;-;

This theme basically gives the perfect “eye of the storm” feel, and it makes sense because you’re fighting something that can create Antarctica Mach infinite winds, so it’s his job to make sure you don’t forget it. But seriously, if he bothers you so much, learn to get good with the insect glaive...

When I discovered that the Rajang horn can negate all wind pressure, I knew I had to make a build around it. To this day, its what I break out when someone needs help with Kushala

This fight felt epic as hell!

Ironically, I had a better time fighting this thing with my hunting horn than I did a 2nd playthrough using Bow. Probably because I got sandwiched between its wind shield and a tornado, and was literally stunlocked for a full minute straight before it finally stopped biting the air next to me, and bit me.

I wanna have a Kushala Daora! Then sun never shines.

For all of my brother's talk of this one being an absolute pain, I think my weapon choice of maining a Light Bowgun made this fight far easier than it could've been, as it's tendancy to get downed by striking wyvernblast amunitions made even using only spread ammo particularly easy to the point that despite being the first of the trio that I faced, it was by far the easiest one.

2:20 is so powerful, too bad they did't put it in the rise version 💔

Honestly his fight isn't very trolly, I personally love fighting kushala, makes yoy feel like youre fighting this elegant, mythical, and almost magical beast but still has that chaotic tone to it like almost things can go bad very quick. They NAILED it!

This thing pissed me off so much that after beating it with an insect glaive, I learned hunting horn, made the Xeno hunting horn, and joined random SOSes against it as revenge. ...Now hunting horn is my second most used weapon. (I'm still not good at this fight.)

My fight with him went like this: -I rush in with nerg DB (demon mode active) -do as much DPS as humanly possible -evade attacks while still moving around faster than the hurricanes Kushala casts -get knocked away by self tornado summon -heal and circle Kushala, evading his diving attacks until he dive bombs into the ground *rinse and repeat* -If I die, eat again since I've timed him out by then -get back in the fight and bomb him using ghille mantle Edit: During final phase: I was sweating bullets because he set up like 5 tornadoes and I couldn't see. I manages to hit him with stray shots and barely came out on top.

Dank Kush is like most incredibly irritating Elders in MHW: obnoxious mechanics that can only be defeated using armor that you have to farm from the very same Elder Dragon that it's meant to protect you from, jumps around a lot to force you to chase it while it passively does damage to you just by existing, absolutely fantastic theme song you can't hear over the roaring in your ears from your ever-increasing blood pressure.

Had my SOS cherry popped by him. The mission was taking forever and a deviljho made it worse. The host later left halfway through and let me tell ya, facing that monstrosity and an enraged devil deviljho across the entire map was one of the worst experiences I had in MH.

You know, I've wondered - what's the in-lore explanation for Worldborne's Kushala not having its wind powers weakened when poisoned? The game-development explanation is obvious - it's to make Elderseal at least somewhat useful. My theory is that the massive amounts of bioenergy in the crystals of the Elder's Recess changed Kushala's biology slightly after months or years of eating them.

How fucking elaborate do we have to make this fight!? GET DOWN HERE!!!

I had to fight this outrage with a level 4 bone charge blade, and believe me when I say this...I spammed SOS like 20 times

All elder dragon theme's are awesome, but it's a bit monotone and cold with all its high notes and winding strings, compared to Hazak and Teostra's themes which have more character and variety. I can see why people would pick either the other two over him.

Kushala Daora is the most relatively easy elder dragons they said Itll be fun they said

People say Daora was bad, but I actually really enjoyed it - sure it takes a bit and the wind barrier was a bit annoying, but Daora to me is just, well, fun. Nightshade Paloma sucked ass, though. You want an annoying fight- at least Daora will land eventually.

To be honest, i prefer the simplicity of the first theme, it sounded so much more oppressive and.. evil, or something. I also don't like the extra passages they've added to the fight OST.

I miss the old theme. This one sounds like they were trying too hard. The rest of the orchestra drown out the chime of the vibraphone and the strings parts that made it sound windy. Now it sounds like any other boring monster theme. :/

I always remember monster hunter for having great soundtracks...but his game........meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.......

The OST of World is pretty bad. They butchered every existing theme and have everything amateur tier sound mixing on top.
