I use my old go to GS set, Skull mask a Kushala Cista a Death Stench Grip B Lavasioth Coil B Death Stench Heel B Draw Charm II Set gives lv 5 Handicraft, lv 3 Focus, lv 2 crit draw and quick sheath. Then pad it out with whatever gems you have.
Teo y helm, gauntlets, legs, Nerg waist Kulve chest Attack charm I don’t remember the decorations but this combination of armor pieces can make a knock off Drachen set.

The great thing about this is that there is no elementless weapon that this wouldn’t be great for. Would be bad ass for the Gs, bow, cb, sns, db, pretty much everything. The only skill that doesn’t convert across all weapons is focus. Other than that this set is one of the most versatile ones there is and I love the addition of max health to add a little more survivability
@@dh0514883 not exactly you'd miss artillery to boost your impact phial damage for CB or Shelling damage for Gunlance and the magazine jewel for both weapon.
Arekkz, did you also know that using the mind's eye ballistics for bow, lbg and hbg can also be used to help penetrate arch tempered lunastra's fire veil. The arrows or bullets that try to hit anything but the head hit for '0' but when you use mind's eye it helps it hit for at least non critical damage.
Thx Arekkz for your Fatal Bite set. I'm a Hammer main and never was able to do Tempered Nergi in less than 5 minutes. Now I've done it in less than 5 and without any Health Augment, but 1 unfortunate cart.
Hi, great sets as usual, I love this series, always very inspiring. I just want to point out that if you happen to have at least 2 attack jewels you could replace the nergi coil with the Val y coil in the first build, to get dragon attack and recovery speed without loosing any skills, just a straight on improvement of the build. personally I'm not using the nergi coil anymore because of this, Val y coil is always more efficient edit: I see you don't have a second attack jewel, than that make sense
hey thats some pretty good stuff you've blessed us with Arekkz senpai ! I'm just one critical boost shy to try out the DB sets (I'll put in my second attack jewel instead). I'll have to craft the pickle SnS to try the second one and i'll switch in the girros hammer instead of the kulve taroth version. The last set looks really good but i'm still looking for those "bow only" jewel :(
I know it might be considered outdated and irrelevant for most, but would you consider a MHGU mixset inclusion? Other than reddit there isn’t too many min/max sets out there but I find myself continuing looking online to no avail. Love your content man!
Mmm not bad. I think a lot of these are putting too much focus on getting attack 4. Like the kushala helm one why wouldn't you add another drachen piece for infinite sharpness? And the fire and ice one why wouldn't you try and get white sharpness for more of an attack boost than attack 4? The new zorah gear has been great for revamping and finally using some status sets. I can't wait for the xeno gamma set. It's amazing literally every single gunner set I have is going to get a buff. I could even use xeno gear with the Luna/xeno bowguns it's so good. Do their spare shot skills stack? I know they have different proc rates so maybe..
@@jezza9617 they don't even have max crit eye. One extra crit eye is the same increase. I attempt to get attack 4 or more when I can but with the set with the kushala helmet he's running the nerg skirt. That's far too much effort for attack 4 plus he loses out on masters touch. It's all good you can use whatever you want. Also I love this series I'm not trying to complain just saying I'm used to more optimized sets on here
Really wish they would add more double element DS in World. If I remember correctly 4U had like 5 or 6 different double element DS like fire/poison and water/sleep and the ever cool thunder/dragon

All I want is my Gamma Nergi armour set. I want it to have max maximum might and a decent amount of attack boost. 500 hrs in the game and I still didn't get my second attack jewel :(
If im not mistaken the droprate of attack boost jewel is lower than it should be for a rarity 7 jewel, i have 3 (including the tutorial 1 and 2 drops) in about 300 hours. The drop is quite rare, the other rarity 7 jewels i have droped much more, i heard it has a rarer drop than some rarity 8 jewels, but i can't say for sure. Edit: Just got another attack boost jewel, about 2 hours after i comented it, so its 3 drops now, in about 310 hours.
With exception of Attack, Ironwall, Shield and Magazine jewels, I've gotten at least 5 of each other R7 jewel. And out of those 4, I've only gotten 1 Attack jewel to drop; my 1 Ironwall jewel was a bonus from some event or the game selling a certain number of copies. As for R8 jewels, the only one I haven't had drop at least once is Pierce. Artillery and Charger have only dropped once. Fugiform and Might Bow have only dropped twice. Everything else has dropped at least 3 times. Hell, I have a stack of 7 extra(8 total) Spread jewels...which reminds me that I need to meld sometime soon, but before that I need to far a bunch of Gleaming Streamstones, only have 1 left.
Basically since you often land critical hit, crit boost might be valuable to increase damage. The only part which boosted by crit boost is the raw portion, not the status or element.
I never completed the Behemoth hunt because i don't have ps+ and he doesn't scale to single player, so i just break his parts and cut the tail while my palico is equiped with the item that makes him drop parts. And thats how i farm his set, if thats your situation i suggest it.
Its a bit unfortunate that there really isn't much we could do with mixed set monday atm. Draken really ruined this series for world since it beats out pretty much everything.
For me, I guess my hesitation got the best of me since I wasn't able to submit my sets. In particular, I wanted to submit and share my cosplay sets to everyone. Not only are they really functional, but it makes the hunt more enjoyable looking like your favorite character. Hopefully he can bring back the cosplay portion!
