As a Monster Hunter veteran for over a decade, this video is one of the beginner's guide to get an addiction to the 5th-Gen extinction before Theodore Roosevelt revives from the dead to choose first-person violence. Also this game is Capcom's best selling game ever.

This confirmed to me that Max0r is 100% based, because he starts with gunlance, but then realizes that insect glaive is the only way to play the game. Just like me.

As an Insect Glaive main since it's introduction, it means the "World" to me that MaxOr picked it up. Such a slept on weapon, it's criminal.

8:49... If you wanna think of it like this though... That Dodogama you killed and are wearing can now bathe in the blood of a Rathalos or that Rathian can bring down the mighty Pickle, I mean the Deviljho. Things they wouldn't typically take on in life, but by wielding or wearing them to embody and carry their spirits... They too can taste the blood of the Elders. At least that's how I like to see it... Unless you're a Naragacuga, because me and Nargacuga have an OLD feud that leads me to literally drop what I'm doing just to kill them on sight... It, its family, its descendants, all of them will fall for the past. Nargacuga knows what it did. (Every veteran player has that ONE monster that shows up in the games that gives them PTSD and another that invokes so much rage that they MUST eradicate it with extreme prejudice... Nargacuga is the latter for me and the first time I fought one in World I had prepared a playlist in advance when I saw the trailer for it being added, and yes I actually beat it to death listening to that playlist and I went HARD with everything. I brought as many explosives as I could carry and my Glaive, I call it the Kinsect Glaive even if it's Insect Glaive because the bug is called a Kinsect, so why wouldn't you name the weapon KINSECT Glaive. Point being however... I crashed the gave the first attempt, because the game couldn't keep up with the explosions and my playing. First game I played was WAY back with the PS2 on Monster Hunter and I was a Great Sword wielder, remained a Great Sword wielder until Tri where I used the Hunting Horn the most and eventually playing until in a later game I was mostly using the Longsword... Then World. In Tri, the Glaive just wasn't for me, but in World I gave it another shot and it has been my main weapon since, even into Rise. I got so used to it that my group I play with have me labelled as "Hornet Hive", because my playstyle can be summarized as: No mercy, no hesitation, go berserk. To be honest I went from someone who optimized the Great Sword to be the HARDEST hitter I could make it, to making speed and reflexes my thing and it even shows in other games I play like Bloodborne, but it's because of me making speed-mastery my thing that makes my team send me first in Nargacuga fights. Over the years, my rage for Nargacuga has become a deep respect for the creature, it was the one monster I struggled the hardest with over the years, so now taking it on FEELS like some epic legendary battle to me, and sometimes to my friends who I've caught literally eating popcorn while watching.)

In 4U and World I use the charge blade as it's just as nippy as a sword and shield but with proper defense and switch axe damage, pretty lost on what to use in 3U now that I have it again tho

I think we can all agree that Max0r’s style tends to be best described as a fever dream/acid trip of a condensed synopsis. Although this may be late to say it but if your still interested in Monster Hunter I’d recommend reacting to either Punk Duck’s How To of the game and/or Sugar Punch’s Culture of Danger video.

Old videos would either have the "youtube national anthem" as shown in the video. Or they'd play paralyzer by finger eleven.

I do kind of take issue with the statement that some species devolve. Sometimes progress seems counterintuitive and comes at the expense of being viable later on in the geological record. Species radiate in diversity and most branches get pruned eventually.

When we say you cannot play monster hunter on an empty stomach, we don't mean doing the hunts in-game. We mean you actually need to eat smth irl before you start playing. Or you need to be capable of fasting

havent played it in a while but im pretty sure you can illegally steal eggs and by extension unborn babies from their fucking parents. and the best part is if my memory serves me right you will get chased by the mother AND other things that want to eat the egg. also *you cant do anything while carrying it so sometimes its not even worth it* "I'm making the mother of all omeletes here Jack. Can't fret over every egg!"

As a veteran player that main duel blades. It's all about GENOCIDE since I've put tens of monsters to extinction

So I went to California before and the only place I liked there was San Fransisco. Only because that's where I'm not roasting under the sun for a few days. Otherwise, I don't like it. Experienced Panda Express for the first time in LA as someone from Asia and it sucks hard.
