Adam didn't fill time, do any backflips, all he did was just good air and good momentum, Ryan did only one backflip in regulation, which to me, is the only thing that was blocking him from taking the lead, If ANYBODY wanted to take the lead for Mikey that night, they had to do two backflips in regulation, or something super out of the blue *Like WF 18*
Not really a fan of this track The year before the track had too many obstacles with no room for people to land big moves This year they’ve essentially got two obstacles that have 15 different ways to approach them but I don’t really know how much I like that It didn’t feel like a lot of the ramps led into another for combos very well, as well as that center stack having that really weird tail at the end that kicked off so many drivers in an odd direction once they landed, plus with a weird ramp up the backside that isn’t really suited for backflips as seen with Monster Mutt Whole track felt kind of dependent on big air and backflips with not a whole lot of room for variation
Mike Vaters Jr. had a great run but I think that score is a little too high I personally think Pauken should have won with his run, a good backflip and a great save in regulation while having to control the truck with only front wheel drive for the rest of the run, but I get it if the back-ups had a lot to do with why his score felt a bit lower
Uhhhhh I think this is by far the worst world finals ever... no run was sensational, nothing "new" happened, the track was pretty poor, and because of the Marvel trucks going away, some of the choices for the lineup are left field and kinda weird. Monster Jam in 2015 generally is just a weird season.
