@@RDCNATION He did fill bonus time. He got 3.5 bonus points. Adam got a 33 without really filling bonus time at all. Damon’s score was a 32.5. I now think that Damon should’ve won. His freestyle was better
So easy to see that Damon had a better run than Adam. It wasn't by a whole lot, but Damon had better momentum and his consistent wild hits were amazing! Adam's run was a big air assault back to back to back but it still should not have beaten out Damon Bradshaw. Really miss having him running in Monster Jam
Dude, Adam Anderson got a bonus score of 1.5, even though the one move he had in it shouldn't have even counted, because you're not allowed to score a move if they don't land it, and that was his only move, so he actually shouldn't have been allowed those points, and if FELD Motorsports had remembered that, he wouldn't have won, because his total was a 33, so his regulation score had to be a 31.5, which would not have beaten Damon's 32.5, so that is kinda cheating. Damon is the two time world freestyle champion in my heart, and he would be if these judges were more fair.
@Mason Crysel yes he did win in 2009. The guy above meant to say he believes Damon should have won that year instead of Adam. I personally believe that Dennis had the better run however
I don't want to sound bad towards the shows but, i like that the music was still rolling in the Scott Buttow (i may writte it wrong)/Hot wheels Firestorm Freestyle, i sometimes forgot they are still going but you can't hear it for the Trucks noises
In the actual event 2 disc version from world finals 17 dvd did Koehler said “donut on top was my brain to get it done before I moved on to the next thing”?
Once again I don’t think I really like the track this year It’s an improvement over the last one since I feel like the ramps lead into the next one a bit better for combos but still leaves a bit to be desired especially since they don’t seem to upkeep the track throughout the show, like forming new bigger jumps or putting out things like motor homes to keep things interesting And you feel that toward the end of the lineup where it turns into large jump from one misshapen dirt pile into the next misshapen dirt pile
As for the runs, I liked Adam’s but I don’t think it deserved that high of a score, was missing the ‘wow factor’ for me and was pretty short barely making it into bonus time The one I enjoyed the most was Dennis, since those two saves, one in regulation and one in bonus were pretty great to watch Do I think he should have won? I’m not sure Feel like this should have ended in a tie breaker between Dennis and Damon and I would’ve been happy with either winning
At the risk of unearthing stuff from 4-5 years ago: Fun Fact, was one of the Bonus Judges for this event and one of the Regulation Judges for the WF the year previous. Got plenty of stories, good, bad and plain weird~ and also sorry if your favorite truck didn't win or something I guess
I mean for one thing, I don't believe you. But also nobody's mad because "their favorite truck didn't win" people are mad because it was the worst judged World Finals in its 20 year history. If you really were one of the bonus judges, you're a horrible judge. 2.5 in bonus time for literally one second. Jesus.
@@LeCarnage 1) Not the worst thing I've been called, so you're good 2) Technically speaking, we gave Adam a 1.5, not a 2.5 RU-vid unfortunately isn't great for picture-posting, but if I could, I'd show you the two polo's I've got from judging both years in 2015 and 2016 that the judges wore and my own score-sheet I kept while judging in 2015. Kind of awkward "proving" something via RU-vid comments, but I can tell you I'm most certainly for real and judged both years. Feel free to ask anything ya want. I'll legitimately answer it~
@@LeCarnage Perhaps. Looking back on it, it was probably a bit much. That being said; we scored Damon's run a 3.5 in Bonus and Cam's run a 4 in Bonus, both of which were the highest Bonus scores we gave-out that night. That should tell you how we felt about what the best runs were. Personally, I felt Damon Bradshaw should've won, but there's only so much we could do with 5 points before it's out of our hands and in the hands of regulation scores.
