I will compile the papers I read. There was no one direct answer, I gleaned it from multiple papers about the Casparian Strip and the BPA molecule. I will get the papers together that aren't behind a paywall and send it to you. I'll post what I can in a comment so everyone can see it.

i use a small atomizer in the water to turn it into vapor, the roots suck it up...they are cheap cause once you toss it in the nutes they get coated in salts and stop working efficiently after about 50-65 days depending how strong the solution you use.

Its climbs with hooks like this plant, it grows very fast very easy and big and you get a ton of veg to eat plus in Cali weather is perfect you dont need grow light. In my place I lived before in one season it covered the whoLe fence between me n my next door neighbor

I couldn't get them to something I wanted to eat. (also in CA) I knew those were japanese cucumber. I was worried they would get too heavy and pull down the plant.

Nutrient Solution Jeb grows all his plants in 1 Gallon Water 2 grams MasterBlend Tomato 4-18-38 2 grams Calcium Nitrate 15.5-0-0 1 gram Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate)

Instead of MasterBlend tomato I use Monopotassium Phosphate and Potassium Sulfate, but it’s simpler to use Jebs mix. Also sorry Jeb, if he knows what’s good for him he’ll still go spend the rest of the day watching all your other videos if he hasn’t already. Figured I’d help a brotha out with the recipe so he didn’t have to go dig. Cuz this gardner also breaks all the rules and breaks all the lawz of nature! 😉
