the engineering and modification on this Kart is amazing. When i saw the nitrous kick in at around 7:46 i was like "OH SNAP!" that thing cut sideways so quickly underpower on the straight, what an animal!!
oh sorry... u thought that was turbo -> there is same sound when racing with KTM... we got Garett turbo in our ford escort... it gives to its 800kgs about 270hp... when we drive crazy.. its whole red :-)
i wuld put the front spoiler more down if that is possible, it wuld make it look nicer and wuld be better for the airflow ^^ nice kart tbh, quite jealous ;D
can you please explain the shifting system of this amazing machine... i would love to use this on a gsxr powered buggy... would you sell me some plans on the type of solenoid or sell a kit?... and type of computer or 50ms relay that you wired for the auto and double clutching... is the clutch hydraulic and pressurized with the solenoid or valve as a whole circuit? i have so many questions.. viva bavaria and great minds please, advice will be compensated... much respect to you...
Omg.. That's pure evilness.. I want one so bad! But I wan't one without the NOS ..! The fact that it's got NOS as well is way to goddamnit ridicules!! =D But the cart itself without the +60 NOS-hp, only 172 is crazy enough as well!! Wow.. This thing really beats everything! What's the cost of it so far?? And would you guy's build one for me if I payed you for it? Beacuse it's so greatly ingenired can i see, I just think I wan't some bigger wheels on it.. Those small wheels are crazy!!! =D
@IMAPOWN - The sound you hear is called fuel cuts. That's when the engine demands more fuel then It can be supplied. This can be due to high revs, such as produce by NOS. the engine will basically skip a beat until it can again get fuel into the cylinders.
Pretty sick kart I must say, but I am more impressed by the "Gixxer cart" also from Germany. Even though not as powerful as yours, you only go straight - team gixxer really puts the pedal to the metal on a real racetrack!
@fukpolitics1 haha 80?!?!? thats nothing! my 4stroke 200cc kart could do that with the right gearing and a big hill! try closer to 140+ with this kart!!! !:D
Damn that thing is incredible!! I bet it's a blast to drive but you probably have to clean out your pants pretty often. lol... Great job on building that beast!
NICE! This video finally proved to me that racing karts rigid frames DO in fact act as suspension. You can see it on the flyby starting at 2:10.. As he hits the bumps, the kart stays planted, and you can actually see the rear wheels flex in and out. If it were 100% rock-solid rigid, it would be impossible to keep control over the slightest of bumps. Thanks for posting a GREAT video, and showing me kart dynamics all in one!
Zo ja, vey pout za moterrad engine in der kartenstuff und ve cannot drive it any where because of der 300MM vheels. Oopsy. Ja das ist nicht fer der ferfergnugen. How about you all take a little trip to America and check out what real men do with their time? Search - EJ POTTER We got us a Chevrolet in a motorcycle. Beotches!
yeah theres WAY too much power for it. and u can tell by the way it wants to spin out when u floor it. NOS was just too much in my opinion. will just cut the motors life short and its probably not as fun since ull just spin out way too easy. 170 HP or w/e this thing had before NOS is way more than enough considering it doesnt weight anything
Damn, a kart so fast must be a pain in the ass to drive- literally. Going 100km/h+ with no suspension on even the smoothest road must be a torture.... Bumps dig a second hole in your ass. But anyway, respect guys. I'd love to have a go in that thing, it must be an indescribable fun.
Man! I would whup every exotic imports if I had that... I cant imagine if these guys started to put in Sukuzi Hayabusa 1300 CC motor. it will be a killer, this beats kartvader video. If these guys have alot guts to drive on freeway, then there is no way in hell that those cops would catch it.
Very impressive but surely the cart is too lightweight to have that kind of power? I would have thought that at fullpower more wings would be needed to generate more downforce as at fullpower I can imagine the front end to lifting up. But great work ....looks like so much fun.
If any of you have ever driven a kart with high power for the first time you would know what a bitch it is to keep your head straight up. By the next day your neck will be sore like you've never felt before. You wont want to move. =] ITS AWESOME!!!!!
ehhmmm what the hell is the sound at 7:18 til 7:21? is it just shifting from 1 to 6 or dous the nitro make that sound when it comes in and off again? anyway stays a nice sound even if i listened it about 20 times xD greetz from Holland ;)
Simply AWESOME!!! Can´t wait to see it on a real track to exploit it´s full potential. That kart is my dream, hope someday i can build one like it. Congratulations and my respect to the people who built it.
i love the predrive instructions: ok this button is the left turn signal, this one is the right, this button is nitrous stage 1, this is stage 2, (pilot pisses pants), here is on/off switch (but dont hook on the safety kill cord cause it aint working yet (pilot pisses pants again), down there is the gas, to the left.... brakes....but dont use them cause...well...they work great, but wont stop this muther F-ing rocket on steroids!...(pilot drops a turd in drawers, smiles and takes off!)...lol
Mad props for this thing! By far the coolest project I have ever seen. Keep the videos coming please! You should show some more technical videos like while your building, developing, designing, and working on the kart.
i'm a guy for lots of power with no weight but thats to much power for that small a vehicle.... you'd never be able to stop spinning the tires if you didn't have it set up right
I can only imagine how loud the induction noise is with the intakes right next to your head! Why run more Nitrous, when you could run more boost (more power, more of the time)
You guys need to change the steering wheel. Go with a 14in like what we run here in the States on our Oval Karts. It will feel so much better, and the steering will not be so snappy
not enough traction to put all that power to the road. You need wider rear wheels and with soft compounds. I would try rubber that is made for cold weather on rain.
WOW great machine really 5* do you guys have something like a dyno video from it? i'd like to see the amount of torgue on it and top speed =) greetz from Holland
Don't know about you, but Nitrous always makes me laugh ! That thing is lethal, keep an eye on that chassis dudes, caus it's workin real hard... Top show !!!
MIEN GOT !.....lol..wow you guys are nuts for even sitting on this bomb...lol what a great design effort and great engineering skills.... hats off guys !
