This hunt takes place in the high rugged mountains of Montana where I go on a solo, self filmed journey pursuing a giant public land mule deer. After combing the mountains for weeks I finally get the opportunity to take a true giant.
OH MY.. I have loved your Mule Deer videos since you started, you do it right and listen to me when I tell you do it all you can while you can before age catches you and says no more....LOL I am 71 and no longer can get where you go but I have two ..just short of booners on the wall ,I got doing it just like you do ,public land and blood sweat and aches.. hats off to you you made my day with this Video.....
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. There does not exist a more underrated hunting channel on RU-vid! Love your stuff. Especially when I think back to all your hunts with your son. So awesome!
I'm a little too old for that now but you bring me back to my younger days.you are a badass.it brings goosebumps thinking of the elation of a big buck on a tough ass hunt.so rewarding.look forward to all your vids.thanks for keeping it real
Oh my god what a set of antlers that deer has. I watched you for years and you started hunting with your son a few times and he got his first wolf that was amazing I think it was better than this dear sorry. But that’s what I think. Because of my injuries I don’t hunt anymore, so I do my hunting through you. Amazing amazing amazing you stay safe now and I know God has blessed you. 🇨🇦
Awesome Buck! I would definitely recommend grabbing your dog an orange vest to wear when out during hunting season. He’s so beautiful and another hunter could mistaken him for a wolf. Just a thought :)
Man I'd love to go hunting for a beautiful beast like that. The long fur would be hard to see in the snow, but I think it would taste pretty good with some butter and garlic, just like the deer. The paws and wet little nose are the most delicious parts of the animal, and two of the things we love most about hunting!
Congrats on a stud buck! Super cool to have your dog hunting with you. You might consider a blaze orange collar on that guy - I’d hate someone to mistake him for a wolf.
Awesome deer but of all people who need a suppressor you are one of them . The atf is coming out with their e forms mid to late December will cut the wait time way down
Use to have a spot in Montana,on the Idaho border ,that held some pigs .huge dark antlered ,Roman nosed old bucks ,everything was wide and heavy . Thanksgiving week was unbelievable.now a draw area ! Beautiful muley .he has it all 👍
Awesome video. Well made and well done. Great shooting too. Your dog.....is it a Sibirian Laika? Anyway, thums up immediately and greetings from one of your subscribers in Norway 🇳🇴
Absolute TANK. Congrats! You are calling it a 5 by. Didn’t see the 5th point. Does he have little kickers or are you counting the eyeguards? Just curious. Awesome buck none the less.
@@grindinitout1761 no, people that have a brain count eye guards. Its a point, its there, its measurable, it goes on the score sheet. Its a god damn point, to hell with your inane colloquialisms.
What a beautiful looking dog! Is he part Siberian Husky? Looks delicious. I remember tracking a Husky for three miles in the snow one season when he escaped from a hole in my next door neighbor's fence. I shot him just under the flank and mounted his head for my neighbor Dave to keep as a keepsake to remember the beautiful beast by. Dave ended up mounting the head on the dog's own dog house. How beautiful is that? The circle of life, and the life of a hunter. It's a beautiful thing. Nothing beats a clean kill and the smell of dogs' blood in the morning to get you rock hard in your jammies and pumped for a day of hunting!
