I found one just outside Glendive in Sept. I kept it and brought it home. It is not nearly as agressive as the scorpions from AZ I have collected. It is currently active, but I think I am going to put it into hibernation for the winter.
I have caught these just north of Great Falls. Surprisingly they don't have them listed in that area. There are plenty up there and it is the perfect climate.
Never even mentioned the scientific name of this species of scorpion indigenous to Montana, nor did they even mentioned the common name of it. It goes to show the levels of disinterest, ignorance, disgust, and fear humanity evoked on them.. Very sad..
