Thank you for the heart felt perspective of the people of Ecuador. It's seems like a very real place to be. I say real because the vibe in the states is very much like a lonely desert island. Nobody is smiling. Nobody seems to be happy anymore.

I highly recommend Montanita. If you want to party, you can party. If you want to chill, you can chill. People are friendly. There’s nature, there’s water sports. Lots of restaurants and bars. It’s really a great little beach town.

Is he going to Mexico next? If he is don’t just go to typical tourist spots he’s been to before( Tulum, Cancun, Playa Del Carmen) go see Oaxaca, Puebla, Hidalgo, Guanajuato etc. These are some beautiful places with a lot of history and a lot of cool things to do and see. Also there’s an Afro-Mexican community in Oaxaca in the coastal areas, go check them out too🙌🏾
