I’m not saying this in a snarky tone, just informational. That’s a complete lift of a Bobby Hutcherson song by the same title. The entire album is re-edits of blue note recordings. The Madlib album really meant a lot to me in 2003. Many memories. This particular song... I really love the Bobby Hutcherson version. It has no drums. There are other songs on the 2003 blue note album that I like better than the original. As far as madlib being one of the greatest hip hop producers of all time? No doubt! Blue note allowed him access to their masters. Nuff said!

This is my favorite song of all time. I love the nocturnal vibes Madlib created through the atmospheric sampling and the bassline is amazing.

A hidden gem. I grew up with music like this, a blessing. Thanks Madlib.
