Well, I have to work there, downtown, and other parts as well, even at the Waters, few weeks ago at the pike rd Circle K two people decided to have a shoot out while me and my co worker were there, one guy had a automatic, don't know what cause I ducked, but he just turned and sprayed bullets Everywhere, hit the new work truck of our work associate across the street at the new eagle gas station, a woman was hit in parking lot walking in to the circle k, one shooter got hit and the chump who sprayed bullets ran off( with his vehicle parked at the store) yeah, Crime is high there, but most big cities are! Couldn't give me a house to live there, we are in a very peaceful rural area, Thank God.. AND dont get me started on Birmingham !!

I moved to Montgomery from Michigan & met my bf there. I moved back to Michigan but some of the best times I had was down there. I'm drawn to the country, gritty, rawness but yet southern hospitality of the city. He doesn't want to move back cause of all the shootings & killings but I actually wouldn't mind. Despite the bad every city has, it has plenty good. I Love the south 🧡

As someone who has delivered to almost all of these streets. The struggle is real but ive gotten bigger tips at times in areas like these than some of the richer neighborhoods.

Interesting that so many of the public housing blocks have chimneys....do the houses there need heating in winter?
@amethyst21364
@amethyst21364 2 года назад
They are for the heating unit. It gets cold here, so yes...we need heat. It's unseasonably warm right now, but January and February are normally the colder months here. Northern Alabama even gets snow.

These aren't really the "real" hoods. Not preferable but you'd mostly be fine living in these areas. Go to the west or south side for the truly "most dangerous."

Is that the same cat 🐈‍⬛ walking the streets. Every city has a bad side of town. One thing I will never understand is that, some people rather live in a rundown home. But, are driving cars/trucks of the year. I’d rather fix my house & drive an old car.

That 90% of the landlords ? I know for fact, in Franklin County Alabama ! are what we call , Big Time Slum Lords ! And there's a big problem with that Because there's no laws saying, they have to do work ! to the home, that they rent out ! So if people don't fix it Their Selves, it is not going to get done ! Then The Tennant don't want to pay for something the landlord destroyed himself by not fixing It , when it was simple , & Cheap ? Instead of waiting to it costs to much ? Also these people down here are not the same as we are This the Dirty South ! If they can get something out of ur pockets instead of there's ! Then they will do it ! a million times over ! And lie cheat and steal big Factz ! And brag about it later !
