Interesting with the DIY 3 year. I applied this to my sons car a few months back. Washed it on the weekend and noticed the horizontal panels have dropped off with hydrophobics. Getting much larger beads, more like small puddles of water. Yet verticals are beading much better. I'll hit it with waterspot remover next wash and see what happens.
@@BelLavoroAutoSpayes, thats right. It does live outdoors but just surprised with the lack of beading on horizontal surfaces. I expect it on the lower door sections but they were ok
Wow a lot of the coatings are not doing so great, a lot worse than what I was expecting! Conditions where you live are probably pretty harsh, I am a gyeon certified installer from Quebec (harshest of harsh winters) and we’ve seen customer cars with mohs evo that we’ve installed 3 years ago come back for maintenance and the coating is still doing decent, pretty disappointing to see how it holds up on your test😢 would be interesting to see how the pro line of infinite coatings would do on your test, from what we’ve seen here they hold up amazing! This video needs way more views than it is getting. Super results, though I'm disappointed in the UD Pro+ and how it seems to have fallen off a cliff on this test..
@BelLavoroAutoSpa seemed extreme at the start, but it's literally just sitting there not being exposed to any of the road conditions that my car is. Plus, my car sits outside 24/7, so this test more or less is real world for me.
@mikezupancic2182 its in my back yard where my big dogs always always bumping into it and when it rains all the mud splashes up onto it, plus hard water from sprinklers. Definitely all things most people would keep their vehicles away from.
