That last item (forfeiture of spousal income) is super important, thank you for bringing that up. I met a couple in which the filipina agreed to stop working, but the expat refused to send money, (that she previously sent monthly), back to her mother for support. She knew I have a filipina gf and confided this to me that this was THE number one issue for them, but her bf didn't get it. No idea how it turned out, but hopefully they came up with an agreement like you and Chrissy.
Good work, enjoyable educational and engaging. I like the pace of the info, the deep dive on some details and the drive by on other matters - this video helps me! TY for the upload Ty Krissy for sharing your life,
What a great budget….realistic and fair. You’re absolutely right about her not working and good on you to help with the wages she’s losing. Like the video. New subscriber
In the last 8 years I've come to realize that the average Filipino is a nice person but terrible neighbor. Best to build your own house to your specifications. The construction industry here leaves a lot to be desired.
My tradesman instincts keep kicking in, but I would have to own the place before I put in the effort to repair those flaws. If I built in the Philippines I would definitely have a basement. Here in Michigan I put my furnace on fan only, which brings up the cooler air from the downstairs. It also makes it easier to work on the plumbing and electric. Maybe a whole house fan in the attic would keep things cooler there? I have 1 in my 4 car garage that works great at keeping it cooler! Your electric is way too expensive! Why is that? Does anyone over there use water filters? I wonder how much a water distiller costs today... Great, interesting video! Thanks for sharing this.
@@eddieBoxer I'm new to this channel but I've seen your mostly negative comments on several of the videos..... Do you know something that we should know or you're just a negative person ??
I’m sorry but I can’t remember someone else asked me that question I can’t find it but it cost roughly 5 dollars I submitted five photos tagged photos and got 50 back
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines: It's OK. I jus\t searched and picked one at random. The only thing missing was an "old masters" type of portrait. I may have to find that elsewhere.
Personally I would want a partner that has job skills to contribute to our lives together so I definitely wouldn't stop her from working but to each their own...
In the Philippines a lot of the jobs require full time sometimes I believe including Saturdays, would you want to come to the Philippines and find a good attractive woman to barely see her and would not be able to travel the Philippines with you because she is working, no I would have her leave the job and pay what she would be paid at her job and medical insurance, keep in mind her wages are probably low and the medical insurance payment is probably pretty low because she is young and healthy
So hopefully there be no rosters crowing dog barking no karaokes I wish you luck on that I think the only there be nome if those that's in condos am I right I can be wrong
Well, we have some dogs here and Condos you can have dogs live in next-door and you can have roosters outside your Condos we found when we stayed in Davao on the 22nd floor
the opening scene made me laugh ... wow yuck. Neighborhood from Hell. Hilarious take on the meat in the Indian/Thai food. Really funny. BUT....you are living on a "rich man's" budget (comparatively speaking), so not sure I will get much out of your channel. I will keep watching though because you are entertaining.
