Most actual NHL scouts like Iginla however Beckett Sennecke has a much higher ceiling than Iginla and a better fit to be taken at the 5 spot. Generals coach said last month he believes Beckett is 6'4' right now and may transition to Ctr position full time next year as he played both Ctr/Rw last season for the Generals. Sennecke like Iginla had a huge jump in their draft stock thru out last season. What Sennecke did while dealing with the height surge his body went thru was amazing. It should be something seeing what levels Sennecke can reach if he has a full season growing his amazing talents without having to adjust every month to his body changing on him. Sennecke over Iginla all day long for the pro style game. His puck skills &skating abilities at his height is super rare!!!!

I feel like people are sleeping on Konsta Helenius. Habs are likely staying away from a project and will look to grab a more NHL-ready player. Helenius is similar to Reinbacher and Slafkovsky in the sense that he is also well-rounded, smart, two-way player with pro experience. With over 80 games played in Liiga, he might be the most NHL-ready prospect in this draft.

Those useless points gained near the end of the regular season hurting the Habs chances at an elite player for the second consecutive season.

Hawks grab Demidov, Ducks take a defensemen (so many options take your pick) Blue Jackets take Lindstrom and Canadiens take Igilna. He will be a great player for us.

To me it is very simple... If Habs get their hands on Demidov, then the Shrimp cocktail Caufeild [8.00$ mill, perimeter player, no crease entries, does not hit, cannot play P.K. can not play on 3rd and 4th line, limited use as he ages] becomes expendable in double quick time. His asset value is as high as it will ever be. People must stop calling him a core player, a superstar in the making... he ain't.
