This isochronic tones track is designed to help reduce emotional and irrational activity which may be dominant in your right brain. At the same time, it increases higher frequency brainwave activity in your logical left brain.
► Please subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks: ru-vid.com...
What does this track do?
This isochronic tones session helps to correct a hemispheric imbalance that is common in depressed individuals. Persistently depressed people tend to have an overactive right (emotional) hemisphere. This tones session works by reducing the dominant activity in the right brain hemisphere, while increasing activity in the left. This aim is to try and give more control over to the left (logical) brain and reducing irrational and overly emotional thought patterns.
Headphones are essential for this track to work properly.
This track sends a different speed of isochronic beat into each ear, so that you can target each side of the brain differently. You need headphones to be able to isolate each ear and do that.
The left ear (which influences the opposite right brain) starts at 14Hz and ramps down to 10Hz.
The right ear (which influences the opposite left brain) starts at 10Hz and ramps up to 20Hz.
In the last 10 minutes of the track the right ear ramps down to 10Hz to balance both sides.
How does it work?
This is a brainwave entrainment audio session using isochronic tones combined with a rain and singing bowls soundtrack. The isochronic tones are the repetitive beats you can hear on top of the soundtrack throughout the track. If brainwave entrainment and isochronic tones are new concepts for you, there is some information about that and how it works here: goo.gl/QwLgHs.
To add further power to the stimulation, amplitude modulation effects have been applied to the rain and singing bowls part of the track. The modulations produce soothing vibrations that are synced with the isochronic tones. More info on how these mind music effects work here: goo.gl/5KS2Ek.
How should you listen to this?
Ideally, listen to this in a calm and quiet environment and in comfortable upright position.
If you are wearing headphones attached to a portable device, it's ok if you want to listen to this as you move around the house, do chores etc.
How loud should the volume be?
Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. It shouldn't be so loud that it hurts your ears or becomes too distracting.

@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
I appreciate your request. Unfortunately, I tend to get a lot of mobile users who tell me they can't hear my tones when I produce them at very low pitch frequency. That happened when I went down to 90-100Hz. As sub-bass is below 60Hz, I'd expect a large part of my audience wouldn't be able to hear much at that low frequency.

Hi Jason, thank you for this beautiful track! Is it necessary to listen to the full hour for relief? Does the cycle repeat at some point?
@MindAmend

Thanks Keera. The cycle doesn't repeat on this one, as the frequencies stay the same for the most part after the beginning. You don't have to listen all the way through but I'd recommend at least 20 minutes as a minimum.

@MindAmend

Thanks. If you are listening to tracks while you sleep, it should really only be tracks that are designed for and meant for sleep. Tracks with mainly delta frequencies in them and some theta, which is what you produce more of naturally while sleeping. If you listen to the higher frequency beta or gamma wave tracks while sleeping, they will probably disrupt your sleep. So if you stick to tracks titled for sleep, you’ll be ok.

hey jason i love your track they are very helpful, could you please tell that using gama and alpha together would be okay
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
You can use gamma and alpha together in the same track but not at the same time in a track, or not by listening to an alpha track and a different gamma track at the same time. With brainwave entrainment audio, your brain will entrain to the single strongest stimulus. It can't fall into sync with two different types of frequency stimulation at the same time. Think of it like how you can't dance to two different beats from different songs at the same time. If I wanted to use alpha and gamma in the same track, I will play some alpha, then some gamma or vice versa. If they are both played at the same time your brain gets confused and probably won't entrain to either, or it will just entrain to the one that produces the strongest stimulation.

@@MindAmend Hey thanks man for your reply I just have made the same mistake by listening alpha and gamma together and after a while I start having a problem like as soon as I swallow their is a kind of hard beat happen on my ear I am bit scared that I might have damaged by something by listening together could you please help me out what can I do
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
You wouldn't have damaged anything just by listening to the two together, unless you had the tracks on super high volume and it hurt your ears. The same thing applies when listening to any audio where you don't want to have it at a very high volume. I'm assuming that wasn't the case and you had the volume at a comfortable level. When you experiment with new things, some people can feel anxious about how it might affect them, and that anxiety can produce its own feelings and sensations. That's my best guess at what's happened. I would take a break from listening for a little while and give yourself some time to reset. Then you should be back to normal.

Do you have any that support, or entrain brain hemisphere synchronization? Or perhaps to strengthen/support the corpus callosum? Oh! How about vagal nerve toning/support? I've saved this one to share with a friend👍😊 so again I say THANK YOU!🤗💖
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
Thanks Robyn, much appreciated. Any of my standard isochronic tones tracks will help to balance both hemispheres. Just look for the tracks where I say you don't need headphones. When both ears are stimulated with the same frequency in each ear, you will usually see both hemispheres start to become more balanced, as both sides entrain to the same dominant frequency. I've seen people speculate about strengthening the corpus callosum with these types of audios. Mainly when using binaural beats, because of the way they form the beat inside your head. I don't know if that's true though, as it seems a bit of a leap. It's almost suggesting that binaural beats stimulate an area that's not usually stumulated that much. As the corpus callosum connects both hemispheres, it's constantly being utilized anyway. So I don't see how using binaural beats would make that area any stronger. Whenever you send a sound into one ear, it automatically goes through the corpus callosum to the opposite hemisphere. I'm guessing you mean vagus nerve, not vagal? That's not an area I've looked into or seen discussed with regard to this type of entrainment stimulation.

I love your ADHD videos, but also struggle with depression and found that this was slightly more effective than the other videos. Is there any particular reason as to why this would be the case? Also, is there a way to make a hybrid ADHD and depression video or are the disorders too different? Thanks for what you do!
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
We are all wired a little differently, and even two people with ADHD can respond to the same thing very differently. That does make it difficult to make a track that will resonate and work well for lots people for a specific outcome. Often it takes a bit of trial and error to find the right arrangement of frequencies, tones and music which resonates and hits the sweet spot for you. So you’ve done the right thing by trying different videos to see what works better for you. Regarding a potential track for depression and ADHD. Sometimes certain mental states and desired outcomes for a track overlap, and you can get a few things you are looking for out of a single track. Some people may find my ADHD tracks useful for depression. It’s often the case though that it’s better to use something that’s made for a specific purpose, rather that trying to create something in the middle that will kind of work for two things. Then you get something that might not be great for either thing. If you get what I mean? If you’ve found a track that works better for depression and another that works better for ADHD, you’ll better off alternating your use of those two, by listening to the one that fits your greater need in that moment.

@@MindAmend Thank you for your prompt response! I figured it was due to some type of individual difference factor, but wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing regarding why one video helped more than the other. Thank you! Your response regarding the combination track makes perfect sense. Thank you for taking the time to respond and explaining this to me. I have a question about isochronic tones and speakers. I know headphones are a must for them to be able to work properly, but do you think it would be possible to use speakers in a small room, set up on opposite sides where each speaker plays the different speeds like the headphones? I am just wondering if something like this could be possible for like a group guided meditation session where multiple headphones for participants aren't always available. What are your thoughts?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
Standard isochronic tones tracks don't need headphones and work ok with speakers. However, with my isochronic tones tracks like this one, the aim is to isolate one side of the brain and stimulate that with a different frequency of tone. In this case, the aim is to reduce the frequency in the dominant, more emotional right side of the brain. Unfortunately, you can't do that with speakers because both ears can hear the sound coming out of both speakers. So you're unable to isolate the sound going into one ear. You can have a group meditation with isochronic tones but just with the standard tracks, which are not designed to influence one side of the brain differently.

I saw that you suggest listening to this in an upright position. Does listening while lying down significantly decrease the effectiveness? Thank you for these videos!
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
No, lying down doesn't effect things much on its own. It's more about the potential knock on effect from doing that. I mainly recommend that to help prevent you from falling asleep. When we are in a more depressive state, we tend to produce more theta wave activity. We also naturally start producing more theta activity when we close our eyes. That doesn't mean closing your eyes makes you more depressed. It just helps to have your eyes open, when trying to make your brain more dominant in the higher beta frequency range.

Hey Jason, thanks so much for this track. I've listen a few times now & I love it. / I'm wondering, could this be used for an ADD-work session? I see in your ADD tracks, both ears start together and both go up (differently). In the 25-min ones they're steady, and they cycle in the 3-hr ones - I assume to prevent habituation? In this Mood Booster the left hemisphere is taken down. / I get the gerneral effects on the brain - but I'm wondering if they could be used interchangeably. Thank you!
