Use this track to give yourself a mood and motivation boost. Especially if you are suffering from persistent depression.

This isochronic tones track is designed to help reduce emotional and irrational activity which may be dominant in your right brain. At the same time, it increases higher frequency brainwave activity in your logical left brain.
► Please subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks: www.youtube.com...
What does this track do?
This isochronic tones session helps to correct a hemispheric imbalance that is common in depressed individuals. Persistently depressed people tend to have an overactive right (emotional) hemisphere. This tones session works by reducing the dominant activity in the right brain hemisphere, while increasing activity in the left. This aim is to try and give more control over to the left (logical) brain and reducing irrational and overly emotional thought patterns.
Headphones are essential for this track to work properly.
This track sends a different speed of isochronic beat into each ear, so that you can target each side of the brain differently. You need headphones to be able to isolate each ear and do that.
The left ear (which influences the opposite right brain) starts at 14Hz and ramps down to 10Hz.
The right ear (which influences the opposite left brain) starts at 10Hz and ramps up to 20Hz.
In the last 10 minutes of the track the right ear ramps down to 10Hz to balance both sides.
How does it work?
This is a brainwave entrainment audio session using isochronic tones combined with a rain and singing bowls soundtrack. The isochronic tones are the repetitive beats you can hear on top of the soundtrack throughout the track. If brainwave entrainment and isochronic tones are new concepts for you, there is some information about that and how it works here: goo.gl/QwLgHs.
To add further power to the stimulation, amplitude modulation effects have been applied to the rain and singing bowls part of the track. The modulations produce soothing vibrations that are synced with the isochronic tones. More info on how these mind music effects work here: goo.gl/5KS2Ek.
How should you listen to this?
Ideally, listen to this in a calm and quiet environment and in comfortable upright position.
If you are wearing headphones attached to a portable device, it's ok if you want to listen to this as you move around the house, do chores etc.
How loud should the volume be?
Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. It shouldn't be so loud that it hurts your ears or becomes too distracting.

5:46 into the video and I am continuing to feel motivated enough to work on my overload of late assignments plus current ones. I suffer from cyclical bouts of depression and withdrawal due to cPTSD and other factors. When I am where I would consider the mid line (hovering between good and blegh) it can be tough to face my responsibilities. Thank you for spending your time and energy creating these soundscapes for myself and many others to benefit from. You are giving a gift to the world and we very much appreciate it

Hello, I am new to this channel, and I was just wondering how this music helps with depression and low motivation. I just want to understand a little bit more. I have been struggling with depression for a long time, and I really like your Peak Focus Isochronic video with the cat. I listen to it every day while I do my homework.

Hi Abby, welcome to my channel. It's great to hear that you like the video with the cat and have enjoyed listening to that one. For a basic understanding, I recommend checking out my article on how isochronic tones work: www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/isochronic-tones/. The isochronic tones stimulate and synchronise with your brainwave activity. With this particular track, a lower frequency of tone is sent into your left ear, which actually influences and reduces the dominant brainwave frequency in the opposite right brain. The right brain is associated with emotional thinking. So the basic theory is based on reducing the dominant frequency in the emotional right side of the brain. A higher frequency is used to stimulate the more logicial thinking left brain, with the aim of trying to balance things out or at least reduce some activity in the emotional side of your brain. I hope that helps.

Mr. Lewis, you have an excellent channel; I have been listening to your uploads for about a year now. Your uploads really do improve my depression and anxiety. One request that I do have is for you to also state the carrier frequency/frequencies of your isochronic tones, because the more I have been learning about brainwave entrainment, the more I understand the significance of not just the frequencies of the beats and tones themselves, but also the importance of the actual carrier (i.e. Solfeggio carrier frequencies such as 528hz). Thank you for all your tremendous contributions. Namaste.

@@MindAmend Thank you for acknowledging my request. Please keep up the amazing work...your channel combined with one other (Inner Lotus Music) on here, in addition to BrainAural are the perfect trilogy of brainwave entrainment sources for me and the people with whom I discuss similar interests. You are immensely appreciated. Whilst typing this I am at the World Trade Center listening to your dopaminergic mind booster upload and everything, namely my perception, feels amazing--indeed, almost psychedelic. Again, thank you.

I had to have my volume a little higher than usual for this one. I got a few minutes in and wondered why the track felt so empty before I tried turning it up. 🤦‍♀️ Awesome track, as always! I love the inclusion of overtone singing!! Could you add some of your newer stuff to Spotify? I would love to do yoga to this.

What possible reasons could we have to be depressed right now 😉 is this suitable for before bed?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
Indeed. It contains some beta wave frequencies, which I generally wouldn’t recommend listening to right before bed, as they tend to make you feel more awake and alert. I would say it depends on the person and how you are feeling though to some extent. If your mind is focusing on negative things, that will likely keep you awake anyway. So if you’re in that situation, this may help balance things out and help you unwind a bit more and relax.

May i ask how you develop these insane videos?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 3 года назад
Thank you, yes you can. There isn’t really a simple or straightforward answer to that though I’m afraid. I use various bits of software. Mind Workstation to create the isochronic tones and brainwave entrainment effects, Reaper, Mixed in Key and Platinum Notes for audio editing. Sometimes I use Audacity to do things I know in that, which I can’t be bothered to re-learn in Reaper. Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder for the video and a bit of help from Photoshop. Plus a nod to RU-vid, for the many hours of tutorials I’ve watched over the years learning how to do this and that. It would have been nice to learn it all in a single course, but it’s all been picked up bit by bit over time.
