I keep wanting to try them and I think they have a washed Kenyan ATM but I usually want to try to squeeze two bags out for shipping and get scared away by the processing. Sounds like they keep it restrained which is a relief.
Our experiences have been very clean especially given the last two coffees we went with were both at least a little more processed. It does seem worth doubling (or tripling) up when the release is right, they can sell-out quickly (which is why we missed the Janson)
@@CoffeeReviews For me it was the defining feature from the start. Some other people I've talked to also found it low acidity. I think it might be that we're in a totally different range regarding grind size and brewing method (and water)
@@CoffeeReviews I use really soft water, like 20mg/l as CaCO3 of CaCl2, 10mg/l sodium bicarb. But it also was very juicy with third wave water diluted to about 35ppm (did the calculation first and then verified with a cheapo tds meter) my usual brew method is 20:300 on the V60, 3 equal circling pours, each taking about 15 seconds. 2nd pour after 35 seconds, final pour when the liquid level has dropped by 1-1.5cm, so about the 1:15 mark. Total brew time around 2:30
From your past experiences, what's their shipping timeframe to the US? I placed an order back on Nov 20th. I received a confirmation email saying they will send me another email once the order is shipped. But I still haven't received any emails from them since then. I tried to reach them through website/ig/email but got no response at all. Thanks!
The two times we've ordered have had different ship dates from the time we ordered. First time was 17 days, but we placed the order almost immediately upon the release of the two coffees. Second time was a week, but we waited a bit on those. The 20th falls within that time frame for now
