Can't stop listening. And I dicsovered 1) this song 2) Joan Chamarro's bunch of talents 3) Scott Hamilton in the last 12 months... What was I doing before ??
What a feat to reproduce and interpret this long solo alone and in one take. A masterpiece - well done, Andrea! You own the song entirely, even changing the final line to honour Scott Hamilton's presence. 5:29 Takes in the well-deserved applause by the audience and the elders in the band, and produces a wicked smile, "I made it, I own the world!"
Very nice interpretation of James Moodys version of "I'm in the mood for love" called "Moodys mode for love" recorded in Sweden October 12th 1949 with an alto sax borrowed from Arne Croona ( James only had a tenor at this time).
james moody and andrea. when she sings the ladies response i truly understood this song for the first time. its almost better when a woman as beautiful and feminine as andrea sings it. when she launches into her womans solo.. "and when the girl sings"..(4:14) with a slight feminine kirtsy i just about fell off my chair! incredible. what a talent. please come to san francisco to perform!!! bravo!!!
Such sweet perfection in this performance. Perfect Sunday morning coffee and laziness on the bed music as well as slow dancing with your baby in the moonlight music. Brilliant!
WOW how I love this record I play this about three or four time a day every day You see I'm a retired drummer and played all the night clubs in Manhattan and Long Island. BOY DO I MISS PLYING
