Mooer Radar vs NUX Solid Studio

Great comparison ! Would this also be useful for bass players (silent rehearsals & recording)? If so, what unit would you prefer ? I'm totally new to IR's, but I presume it's possible to load bass cabinets also.

Hi Leo, on your previous video "Torpedo CAB M vs Nux SOLID STUDIO vs Mooer RADAR", you've came into comment section and stated "Well actually if you only use the speaker simulation, they sound pretty similar and pretty real. If you use also the power amp sim, to me the best is the cab M followed very closely by the NUX and then the Mooer. ", hence my question is with power amp being concerned, which one's better? Mooer Radar of Nux Solid Studio?

Hello!, really nice and detailed reviews in your channel, great format and the performance :')... I have two questions that I hope you may answer (i) having those really good amps and cabs behind you in the studio, would you say the performance of the Nux Solid Studio is on pair or near to the sound and feel of the real thing? (ii) I watched almost all your reviews of all those nice multieffects units with amp/cab sims, would you say that the sound of the Nux as a dedicated unit it's on pair -or even better?- than the amp/cab sims of the HX Stomp or HearRush Gigboard? Don't mind much about the features or n° of models, just the sound. If so, maybe it can be a better deal the Nux+HX Effects combo for the versatility and live situation. I have a nice deal of the Nux at $140 new in my country. Sorry for the long question, it's impossible to try before buying in this quarantine I think I can trust in your experience based on all your reviews and your fine taste at playing :')

On pedal board with preamp AMT R2 B2 recomend?

Hey, I'm Brazilian, so I did not understand much of what you said. From what I've heard, Nux seems to have done better, but the Mooer has more options of cabinets and valves and an equalizer. Given the pros and cons, in your opinion what is the best to play live with a set of pedals connecting directly on the PA sound table and a comeback? Congrats on the video and the channel. You play sencationally well.

If you are running from a pedal board, do you also need a preamp before it?

The specifications of the Solid Studio seem to have changed. I got one today and it requires 500mA. I tried 300mA and it didn't work. Strange, because the manual says

the nux solid studio already built in preamp ???? thanks

I have the Nux with a good tube preamp, into a solid state power amp, damn it sounds great vs without the Nux.

Therefore, which is better? The Radar or the Solid Studio?

Nux just a little better, but as you wrote, eq disabled on the Mooer.

mooer is the worst company I've ever dealt with I bought the radar could not read the usb had the oldest software version then it stop working after 1 hour I returned that and bought the ge 300 works has ok sounds learning the pedal after 2 weeks tried to load latest software can't read usb again had the oldest software Then communicating with them testing doing everything they say still no go asked for replacement they said Ive had it to long wtf Then they asked to video tape what I am doing sent them that No response since That is unacceptable and Im not the only one Some peoples screens just stop working others the whole pedal and the company are Ignoring them as well I hope people stop buying from them
