In this episode, we take our space exploration to new heights in Minecraft modded with AE2 and Create mods. Our main goal is to find inscriber patterns from AE2, which we do by scouring the moon for meteorites with chests containing these valuable items. We then use the inscriber patterns to create circuits for AE2, which we will need to create our ultimate storage system.
To power the circuits, we set up a steam engine from Create mod, which will be connected to an alternator to generate the required energy. With the engine up and running, we install crystals growth accelerators to speed up the growth of crystals needed for the AE2 drives.
Finally, we combine all our resources to create a top-of-the-line storage system using AE2, making sure to optimize our setup for maximum efficiency. Don't miss this exciting episode where we take on the challenges of space and master the power of advanced technology in Minecraft.

you can use a create item vault with an inventory interface for the ME system. A 3x3x9 item vault has lots of storage

Dumb question but what kind of inventory interface? The "ME Crafting Terminal" or something else?

@@MrChitakifsy it’s not an Interface for the player to interact with. It’s called storage Interface or inventory interface or something and is used to connect an me system with a normal Minecraft block that has an inventory

Hey chosen, the bigger steam engines deliver insane amounts of stress units, and even the questbook says that grinding that out is part of the pack, i found it pretty fun to build a kelpfarm and steam engine

There is actually a config setting for the amount they make if I remember correctly... Pack dev should adjust as needed.

@@BertrandDunogier Yeah, the default is pretty low to begin with now due to the mod author intentionally nerfing it I believe. That said, I'm not sure the pack dev didn't lower it more after looking at the config files in the pack... the 15 per max rotation may be intentional as well.

One of the devs here, alternators have been severely nerfed due to the machines in this pack only consuming around 2-10 fe/t. To power ae2 though, vibration chambers or thermal generators are your best bet. By default I believe alternators make you 2k fe/t

I highly recommend using a backtank so you can use your extendo grip a lot more. The extendo grip uses the compressed air in the backtank instead of durability! The backtank is charged by spinning the top of the tank to run its internal air compressor while it's placed in the world. I'd suggest using the shaft of a cog to do it as it charges significantly faster the higher the rpm is. I don't know if you can use a crank to charge the tank but if you can then you can charge it up anywhere, but it would be quite slow.

i think its better for you to temporarily stick with the Create power system instead of the Vibration chamber because you would need constant maintenance for the vibration chamber while the create system can stand alone without interaction

well now you can run a chain of belts from one end of your base to the other, as your create powerstation. So daisy chain max length belt with shafts going from where the speed controller sits, and use chain drives to link belts together. Then when you need power to a contraption you just shaft underground to area vertical gearbox to send to surfaceand feed into a stressometor, then either strieght into your contraption or more effientently into a clutch attached to a rotaional speed controller this way if you want to turn off a contraption you can, and you can also speed up 1 and slow down the others if you need to..... plate up style gas override lol. which with it already set up the way you have it upgrading the boilers to tier2 would be easy and give you tuns of stress to play with as you just need deployers or a mechanical arm to feed blaze burners charcoal from auto tree farm. as of right now your max stress i believe is 16,384, and if you can upgrade them to tier2 you can double that and possible unless the pack changes the values i believe in tier2 boilers you can 4x that stress.... that is if you upgrade all 8 boilers lol, cant wait to see how crazy your permanent not parmanet planning area gets!!! hahahaha

To get more power all you would have to do is get bigger individual boilers and have more shafts run to more alternators then pipe the power into the ME system

I think I'm a little confused on why you're making multiple of those small boilers when a larger one should produce toooons more rotation force. It doesn't seem like you're lacking the material.

my thoughts for power or just create stress in general was a kelp farm plus bulk smelt plus compacting to dry kelp blocks than using a mechancial arm off a depoy to feed the blaze burners. powered by a water wheel

blaze burner with your tree farm/charcoal to crank it up to double for the boilers each. i think 4 fueled blaze burners might be 4x base speed you are using each. one hand sorter can feed all 4 and you can use water wheels to power the pump/arm/tree farm/charcoal of course.

Make a tree farm like he has already, then have the wood smelled with a blasting recipe with create fan and lava, feed that with a mechanical arm into blaze burners under the boiler setup. It will require more water and a bigger tank but can produce more power, you should be able to put 4 engines on it with 4 blaze burners fueled under it. Idr how big of a tank is required. You can ponder the engine I believe and it will shower you.

Since the last episode I found my final press and set up an ME system. Yeah that alternator has gotta go FAST to power it. I grew like 3 stacks of certus crystals ahead of time since I knew I'd need it. Mine takes 11 FE/t. Yeah I needed way more shimmer dust than I had expected I made the mistake of making a 16x storage item since it's been a while since I used AE2

This whole meteorite searching thing is precisely why I choose Refined Storage over AE2 every time. If something is required to progress (or in this case, to even start), it shouldn't be fully determined by RNG. *Especially* when it takes so long between each roll of the RNG, i.e. between finding each meteorite. That just feels like bad game design to me.

You need to make the steam engines hotter, have more water (bigger), and add more shafts. You can see by the monitor on the side of the steam engine

You should make a tree farm so you can use the logs to power the vibration chamber. It would eliminate having to remember to power the vibration chamber. I hate the situation where I forget to power my storage and then I have no way to access the fuel I've stored in the system. Although it's simple, it's annoying to have to cut down a tree just because I forgot to power the vibration chamber.

Applied Energistics is a helpful mod for storage management, but I personally find the mod a nightmare to use. I mean, the shortest guide I could find on the mod is like en entire playlist of 12 videos, and the mod is so complex and difficult to use... Whenever I make modpacks I always use Tom's Simple Storage or similar in place of AE2 because AE2 is just too complex. Also I bet the reason that the AE2 Meteorite structures aren't showing up on the Explorer's Compass is likely because the structure was blacklisted in the modpack's config, so that players can't cheese the AE2 progression with the Explorer's Compass

also this could come in handy an Accumulator it stores your power from your Alternator and its made buy create crafts and additions mod same mod as the Alternator i stopped playing this pack but i know the updated mod crafts and addition has a muti-block for this now to make bigger Accumulator's holds more power and looks cool

Yoooo he got it first try this video? I've gone to so many meteors so far that I was wondering if I was doing something wrong. I have through over 18 and counting, made a gold genuine gold chasis diamond tires car from the automotive mod just to travel at a decent pace and so far I've found 8 inscriber calculation press' 6 inscriber engineering press' 7 inscriber logic press' and 8 inscriber name press' but the one you need is the inscriber silicon press to just get started

The barrier of entry for AE2 is to high. Combine that w/ channels and item limits w/ drives and I will never understand why people like it. Refined Storage does almost everything AE2 does and it’s cheaper and easier. There are edge cases where AE2 can do something RS can’t. And there’s the known RS issue w/ NBT tagged items. But if you keep armor, and other items w/ a lot of NBT tags, off the drives there is no chance for world corruption.

please please please upgrade your steam engines, they can have 4 blaze burners under them and stack up to i think 2x2x5 and pump em full of water. making 4 separate ones is not nearly as powerful as a fully upgraded one.
