Future historians: The name "John Madden" refers to an unknown, possibly mythological figure whom the early Lunar settlers regarded as a kind of heroic figure.
future historians: from what little remains of pre lunar era records, the phrase "here comes another chinese earthquake ebrbrbrbrbrbbrbrbrbrbrbrbr" suggests that the planet was often plagued with natural disasters
I know that they’re walking/hopping like that due do gravitational differences (I think) /it just being hard to move and such, but it looks like they’re just two random abandoned astronauts that have accepted their fate of dying here and are just having fun in their last days
Technically its not hard, its easier. The suit is a little bulky, so that is a problem, but when you are 3 times lighter its not a huge deal. They were mostly falling down and hopping around to collect data about movement on the moon and the effectiveness of the space suits.
After hearing about some of the shenanigans Buzz "19 bowls of oatmeal" Aldrin, Michael "what I assume to be the correct size" Collins, and Neil "too good of a pilot and accidentally made Buzz walk around in piss-boots the entire time they were on the moon" Armstrong were up to, this feels more realistic than one would think.
that was all apollo 11 alone, don't forget: - gene cernan and harrison schmitt's little duet - john young's 'lunar olympics' - harrison schmitt fucking launching his geology hammer - pretty much anything alan shepard did on apollo 14
