I'm REALLY happy this has a DSP cable option but I think it would have been better to sell it separately as an addon and reduce the price for people who don't want it.

Hi Crinacle, I noticed some wierd audio crackles in this video. I thought it was an issue with my setup or youtube at first, but it happens at specific points in the video, and isn`t present in other videos. Here are some time stamps, where it`s really noticable: 1:31 (on "that") 1:43 (on "blessing") 2:05 (on the end of "crinacle") 5:27 (on "dusk" and then theres like two more directly afterwards) 7:03 (on "minor") 9:58 (on "yes") there are a lot more, but these are some of the more obvious ones. Could be just some wierd bug with youtube audio, but you may want to look in on this. Otherwise great video, as always :) Edit: It`s also present at the same points, when listening on my smartphone and headphones in the youtube app. So it`s definitely the video and not my setup.

Switching between the DSP profiles with Equalizer APO to find the one..and i think i'm slowly falling for the diffuse tilted, cause no fatigue here + sound ofc. (Setup : Fiio KA3 amp/dac + Linsoul Tripowin Zonie 4.4 balanced cable). Thank you Sir (again) !

I'll be honest I wasn't going to buy Dusk because I already have the B3. However with the new changes along with the DSP cable for a different tuning option It's a must buy. damn it crin this is bad for my bank account 😂

There needs to be a way to power the DSP cable and still accept an mini jack input. Of course this means there needs to be a way for the app to adjust the DSP cable as well... or just offer a separate DSP amp for those that want to connect to some other source.

Does this have the 'normal' bass? I've tried blessing 3 and its bass sounds so unnatural like there are only attack and decay, no sustain-release or reverb thing.

Oh, I see what happened here: Dusk is only (true) logical upgrade from my Truthear HEXA, purchased just a few months ago. So far, I don't see any better upgrade option.

What size eartip do they need? I assume "Spring Tips" are silicone and i prefer the passive noise cancelling that foam tips provide

Can you recommend some IEMs that have a really low profile but still deliver on bass and sound in general? i want to wear them with my helmet and most IEMs are simply too fat to fit underneath comfortably (especially when taking the helmet off). The Shure SE215 work reasonably well but their newer BT variant isn't suitable while their older isn't produced anymore.

moondrop's past dsp iem's had an issue with noisefloor one benefit ruins the other.

@crin Do you have any background information why you can't change the DSP settings with an iPhone?

had to change faceplate due to short circuiting crossovers, but carbon fiber is also conductive..? is the curing resin enough to separate the carbon fiber from crossover circuit?

One of the main problem for me about blessing/dusk iems, it's chunky as hell in my ears 😄 So i might be try it, but probably end up not buying it because of the fitting

I have a question which may be a stupid one. Sorry i'm new here. If I'm looking for new IEMs to replace mine but i'd like something very similar in terms of tuning all while upgrading, does crinacle have a tool to identify similar IEMs? I know we can compare tunings but there are 1000+ IEMS it'll take forever. Is there a way to identify quickly similar tunings. FYI I have FH5s (I think Crinacle's favorite FIIOs)

Tried it at Canjam, an absolutely fantastic sounding IEM

I'm still enjoying my Salnotes Dioko and it gives the Timeless AE a run for it's money at 1/2 the cost....with some EQ tweaking to tame the high end and add (yes, yes I'm that guy) more bass. I use the AE for inside enjoyment and the Dioko for yard work.
