pretty cool that the characters from the other Masterpiece series (the Magpie Murders) are given a new life after they've solved murder and their lives change. Looking forward to it. Hope that means the Inspector gets a new life too!

The Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders are both based on, currently, a two book series by Anthony Horowitz.

OMG Magpie murders was my favorite murder mystery series, i'm so excited! And i'm even more excited to know what new banger the opening is gonna be! The magpie murder OP was sooo good, I listen to it all the time.

So excited! I love Anthony Horowitz's books and the Magpie Murders TV adaptation was such a treat! I didn't know (though I had hoped!) that we would see Moonflower Murders until just now. Fantastic news!

A missing person is a definitive trope of detective fiction. Don't watch crime shows or murder mysteries if you're fed up with the idea of a missing person. By the way... thousands of women go missing everyday in the world. Many of them are never found. Are you fed up with that too?

Every single line is as basic as possible, there is no spark or wit or nuance whatsoever, and this is the trailer. it is functionally like the cookie cutter Netflix crap. And specifically feels like the plot was written by committee or partially by AI. An idea of a mystery plot based on seeing other mystery plots in a detached way. Bizarre. And obviously a waste of Manville.
