This actually happened at Mcapline Park in North Carolina. I had ran in the men’s varsity race before the women’s varsity race. Around 15-20 minutes after I had finished I start to hear sirens. I see a bunch of people running towards a part of the cross country course( in which she has collapsed in the back part of it). yea gotta listen to your body, if you need to stop and quit, then stop and quit, if you arent in shape to run a 19 minute 5k then you arent in shape so slow down
When are people going to realize that sports are unhealthy for everyone? Just because you are running ect, does not make it healthy, in fact, your stressing your body more so at a young age. Did yo know smoking and vaping are better for your health than Running, or any sports activity it is a proven fact.
