Part 2 in my video series of installing the Hotchkis Total Vehicle System in my 1970 Cuda! This video is focussing on the front suspension. I install the upper control arms. lower control arms, spindles, strut rods, torsion bars and steering rods.
The Hotchkis products are top notch and I'm really impressed with them. The install is straight forward following their online instructions.
I have been going through my entire car as I want it to ride, drive and perform like a modern car. Not like it was from 1970.

I would use a deep well socket or a homemade piece of round stock to install boots and such. And I found it easiest to incorporate an air compressor (impact gun) to install nuts/bolts with piend and nylon threads. Believe me I've destroyed the threads on a lot bolts and parts just to get them tight 😁. Take care

Making real progress! Any thoughts on wheels and tires? Are your stock wheels 15s? Mine are 14s. ☹️

Stock wheels are 15” and are sold already…. Want/ need something a lithe bigger for my desired handling. thinking of a fun way to announce them soon

@@dahut3614 well if i give lots of choices I will probably disappoint some people but it would be fun to do a poll and see what people choose and if the wheels i choose would get many votes. I am thinking I will just do a "wheel" unveiling video then another getting the tires mounted and putting them on the car.

Why did you install this kit? Looks like it changed the geometry of the suspension and removed the anti-dive characteristics of the torsion bar suspention. My guess is it will nose dive excessively under hard braking. Also the car will "buck" more on rough roads as it fights against the anti-squat characteristics of the mopar leaf springs. You will have to install a link type rear suspension will coil springs to solve that.

It rides great man, was able to get some great cruising in the car after finishing it up and getting it aligned and it handles better than i could of expected!
