I love the way S7 mops. It has the fast vibrating pad that gives me the impression it mops the best! My friend told me roborock is reasing S7maxV ultra that can wash mop, refill water tank and also empty. Sounds like THE perfect robot!

Great video. I am always amazed by your talent! I have been using the Dyad which I like a good bit. Also the Dreame W10 mops just as good as the S7 in my tests!

Oh I had no idea! Hm let's say the Dreame doesn't not lift the pad on carpet so not as convenient in homes with a mixed surface. But really good to hear it is as good as the Roborock as a mop. We are talking about mopping performance, right?

@@SmartRobotReviews Yes I am talking mopping performance in my mopping tests with dried on hot sauce. The W10 is the only one as good as the S7. I like the fact the S7 lifts the mopping pad though!

Thanks for the great review. I have the S7 which mops very well. Now roborock has released the S7maxV Ultra which seems like a must-have. Could you pls do a test on S7maxV Ultra!

Thank you! You are quite right. The only down side of the Roborock S7 is you have to wash the mop. Other than that, it is almost perfect.

Looking to spend under $500 for mopping 2200sqft of luxury vinyl floors with 1 low pile rug. I have no pets but mostly need for spills and crumbs in the kitchen and dining area and regular cleaning throughout. Which lidar based robot with good customer service will MOP the best in my price range? Was looking at roborock S7, s5 max and Ilife w450? Any others to consider? For ex Dreametech? TIA

I bought the s7 3 month ago and 2 times sent back to repair and still not working vell ... sometimes it's not charging and giving error till the dock will pull out from socket and put it back ... after reset it's working again a few days ... the charging contact is started co corrode because the the cleaner draining water on it and in service not finding and don't repair it in warranty ... i had xiaomi 1C cleaner before it ant I used it 2 years without any problem ... now this new one if full of problems ... :( i didn't recomend it .

it is a little silly to remove mop pad when you need vacuum for Narwal. I expect Roborock's auto-wash model S7 MAXV Ultra

Nice review. Do you have review xiomi mop 2 ultra? I one to buy it but don't know the quality of it. As I don't see any review about this robot. But i intrigue with mop 2 ultra that have 4000kpa suction. Please review this robot if can. I would love to see the quality from your experiment!

Great review as always. I'll probably buy a self washing robot this year. Thinking of getting the Obode p8 at $599 once it goes on Kickstarter in a few days. I have a M6 and Samsung jet bot, they clean ok, but like the idea of just swapping out the tanks. I'd like the Roborock max v ultra, but I'd have to sell my car.

Haha, yeah the S7 MaxV price is quite high. The Obode P8 looks promising taking into account that it's cheaper than competitors like the Dreame W10 and Narwal T10. Thank you for watching!

excellent review. i think (at least for me) that one would want a robot that can simply start cleaning and.. you forget about it. this is where the Roborocks excel as their navigation and app features are so good. I literally start the S7 when I leave home (with "hey google start cleaning in 5 minutes") and give it 2 more runs with "deep cleaning" on dirtier rooms once i get a notification that it completed cleaning , and that is it. i come back home to a clean vacuumed floor. every time

And how do you pre wet the mop when you are not home as roborock advise to pre wet the mop before mopping ?

@@theattorney6072 i don't pre wet the mop. they advise to do so, in situations where you want to clean a room/zone asap, without waiting for the mop to get soaked gradually by the water tank (during a standard run)

@@anonylesss Thx for the reply. Si if you let it soak gradualy, it will get completely soaked by itself ? I Saw some videos where it had difficulty to soak itself on the entire mop and where only the middle of the mop was getting wet.
