What's sad is that Clay thought that whenever his Dad hit him, that his Dad was showing him love. Because Clay does, "Now am I worth it?" and his Dad hits him. From then on, Clay would infuriate his Father on purpose to get hit because Clay thought that meant his father loved him and that he was "worth it"

@@chillouttoprak It really is all his mothers fault tho. She spoilt Clay rotten and ruined her own health, resulting her own death. And clay didnt just to do a goofy prank. He did that because he was a whiny brat and was mad because he wasnt the only kid that his mother had in the womb. I never said it wasnt his parents fault he was like this. Also, if i had a kid whose a spoiled brat that killed my wife. I would never see that kid ever again, i would never raise him. I like how in "Sacrifice", Clay's ranting and antagonising of Reverend Putty, Officer Papermouth and Dr. Potterswheel shows how uncivilised he really is. Shooting Orel aside, he basically pisses off the three pillars of society: law, religion and medicine. What's even more ironic about it is that Clay is supposed to be the elected leader of Moralton. And since guys like him think they can get away with anything because they're authority figures and are "above sin", that sort of makes Clay above all others in that respect by that logic. It goes to show that Clay isn't a leader since he slaps the three things a leader is supposed to uphold in the face, proving how pathetic an individual he truly is. He pretends to be the righteous, upstanding leader but it's a skin-deep persona. Now all we see is a child trapped in a man's body craving attention and vindication. A truly sad existence

@Oscar.224
@Oscar.224 Год назад
@@thedragonthatlovesskittles7132did u not watch the show? he was a whiny brat. When he found out his mother had 10 miscarriages he got mad because he was not the ‘one and only’. So he had a tantrum, he got mad. He decided to prank his mother by pretending to kill himself, Knowing that his mother has a weak heart. His mother died after a heart attack. Yet that kid didnt even felt any remorse or regret. He was smiling at his father thinking it was a success prank. His father, of course blamed his son for the death of his wife. He couldnt look at his son with love anymore. Knowing that he was the reason his wife died.AND at dinner, when the father said “can you pass me the ketchup you killed your mother with” the son poured all the ketchup at his fathers food and said “now am i worth it?” With a mischevious smile. Honestly i would have not handle that child. Also, the reason why hes such a whiny little kid is because of his mother, his mother always smoked when she was pregnant with those 10 babies, because this was like in the 1900’s and people back then thought ciggaretes were a good thing since it was created by a doctor. Thus, resulting to her children dying. She started having a weak heart because of it. So when she was pregnant with Clay, she was praying and praying hoping for clay to live and she forgets to smoke because of it. And so, Clay lived. his mother spoiled him rotten by calling him “my precious only ever” and never disciplining him, because Clay is the only child that lived, she loved and adored him because shes been watching a child for so long. And after finding out that hes not her precious only ever.. well you know the story by now.

that's not true at all. the vast majority of traumatized or abused individuals do not become bad actors themselves, that's actually a very harmful stereotype. only the minority of cases become as bad as those who victimized them.
@ashebennett7726
@ashebennett7726 8 месяцев назад
No they don’t. How do you explain good people who’ve been through a lot worse. Hurt people don’t have to hurt people. Hurt people love people more. They become doctors, teachers, therapists, social workers. Hurt people help people. It’s abusers, evil people who don’t take responsibility for their own lives who hurt people. Even Orel realizes this later on. Stop saying abused always become the abusers. There are bad people who just so happen to have a tragic history, but still, no sob story is enough to distract from their own failings. Bad things happen to everybody. Being a crappy person doesn’t invalidate your problems, nor does it give you the go ahead to stomp on others. Abusers always CHOOSE to be abusive while hurt people grow up to be helpers and lovers. Just look at Orel. You could live a perfect life with parents who teach good morals, and give you everything you need and STILL grow up a total psycho. Just look at Big Jack Horner from Puss in boots and the last wish.

And clay is that bad person who just so happens to be broken. How do you explain his son Orel who becomes broken but then grows up to be a loving husband and father living happily as a family man in the end? That’s because there are traits were actually born with that develop later on in life and clay was always a narcissist. Maybe his mother didn’t help with that and she has a lot to be blamed for, but at the end of the day, it’s still all clays actions. He has NONE of my sympathy. He never did.
