Projectiles cause FF, only explosion doesn't. You can check it by putting a flying unit in front of your BFT and see damage

One man long fights get repetitive but a brutal slog between two full armies can be fun (which of course we usually see in SYDB and SYDC)

first the traits than the sword? Also if you do handle the rebellions that is a lot of slaves. But yeah public order is an issue

@@cathulionetharn5139 rebellion in slaved cities dramatically reduces the slave count. I am playing the game vanilla in legendary difficulty. So Morathi has a lot of enemies and 1 army to deal with it early game :) . I have no gurantee that Wurzak and others are alive, really not viable :D . Morathi is so great, with couple heroes in army she can be a doomstack without sword so this was really to send in :D

@@edyburkay I think the rule is to have a few cities with all the slaves and others with none but no idea how this checks out on legendary (din't play it on dark elves and not really planning to) and wheter the loss of slaves from rebellions outdoes the gains. Still good job getting all this done by turn 82. Imho wurzag usually stays alive because orc confederations. I don't think orcs can get wiped before turn 110+ without player interference

Also yes, I had 3 cities with slaves, problem was 1 hexoatl, 2 lothern, 3 ancient city quintex, all were soo far apart, all needed seperate armies, while my main armies kept touring Ulthuan to stop rebellions :) . I got this done by turn 50 and, tbh probably can be done around turn 40s, so I was suffering for 30 turns :D

Isabella would be goid to check out as well since she has much higher defence on foot and is highly mobile on her mount. Vampires can make use of the sword of kaine providing the corruption is high enough as well so no Khaine minus.

VC meta is already 1-man doomstacks. Literally, in the end game, you'll have level 40 lords wandering around by themselves dealing with armies using wind of death.

Teclis has a larger hitbox, but definetely higher resistances and can heal for a few winds. Morathi has more reliable damaging spell. The only thing they have in common is they are both flying spellcasters

She's is so fun to use. Can spell cast, can melee, can be a general (via auras). And almost any army (hero goonstacks, shades, hydras) work well with her too.

I dunno, knights of the realm and pegasus knights all have non-AP anti-large, and morathi's unarmoured large. Still not a good matchup for 90% of the fight.

@@JB-xl2jc they are not skaven, so they have really high leadership. Since she deals significant damage constantly, she never gets low leadership to break. Like she is really good :) try her out , 1 master, 1 fire sorceress, 1 khanite assasin, 4 man stack

Sometimes we get a disaster battle but I really miss disaster campaigns. Legend either doesn't get any good ones or he's just lazy and prefers doing a single battle instead :P

Jokes aside Khazrak is very powerful, he has like 100/80 stats without SoK on high levels

Yeah, Shadow Lore is one of my favorites. Pit of Shades and Penumbral Pendulum are so good!

@@0786RICARDO I was just joking :) . She can tank so much, every hit almost takes 1 health of her, so 40 health. It is a lot of resistance indeed.

Yeah if she has Heartrender + Dark Sword she'll get extra melee debuffs vs opponents too. And if you're not going sword of Khaine you really don't need to melee as much, so you can trade out the Armour of LIving Death (The Hunger) for Armour of Destiny for an extra 5% physical resistance. You regen slower but your max pool remains the same.

It's beautifully thematic if you sacrifice crap stacks to make Morathi stronger. Talk about dark sorcery lol. It's actually a fun use for crappy confederated armies you are going to disband anyways.

... Unless she's on foot. If you fight her before she get her pegasus, she is good in melee but doesn't have much that can help her survive, like Aranessa animations or Settra/Sniktch anti-surround abilities. Praise the dark sun

It would've been really effective against the lords, heroes, and the pegasus knights and it deals good damage to inf.

It deals damage to 1 unit, aka it caps out on damage around 860 total damage. Overcast Pit of Shades at 14 damage per model for 13 seconds completely blows it out of the water. Soul Stealer is for isolated dueling or healing.

Thnx. I think that line is better for campaign as well, since she is the only army early game 30% up keep helps early, and casualities captured for all armies really boosts economy mid game. I would rather sacrifice 10 melee defence from shades and play carefully and boost my faction.

You're inting your Morathi playthrough even considering Insidious it is one of the weaker unique trees in the game. You want melee attack and defense on shades?! When you can take massive economic and power boosts in 15% casualties factionwide, post battle loot +10%, factionwide magic find, factionwide corruption and oh btw -30% personal upkeep to snowball with a second army? No thanks. Honestly one of the two trees is usually weaker or very disappointing. Malekith is about the only exception and even then Warleader is clearly better if you look at the numbers until so late in the game that the campaign is over. At least if the AI picks Tyrant you can tell yourself 5% tax rate isn't bad and it's probably too late in the game for Malekith to generate 2+ million gold for you by himself anyway.

I constantly use it cuz fighting a lot of those battles I want to kill them fast. And honestly, my regen speed always kept me at full health, I dk how much dmg it deals :D

They aren't actually derping. That's just what legend thinks. The first thing they do is get full map visibility. After they've seen the entire map, they don't do it anymore. They then stay away to let skirmishers fire. After the missiles have used most of the ammo, they try to get as many models in base contact with the lord as possible. The others keep moving to keep spells and artillery from hitting. It does break them a bit, as they seem to clump up in odd places, but they aren't just marching aimlessly like idiots. If they all clumped around her, it would be just as bad

5 Months later I almost lost a siege against her playing Avelorn campaign, so you know... :D

I think they took damage from SoK ability not from missiles

Someone could check the game files but I believe it's 60% army casualties then either 3/5/7 or 5/7/10 battles with those losses.
