Here's a hot take: Morbius sets the stage for a, not "THE" necessarily, Sinister Six. This Cinematic Sinister Six will consist of Vulture, Venom, Morbius, Doc Oc, a variant of Mysterio, Sandman, Hobgoblin, etc. There is no shortage of characters to set up *A* Sinister Six! Once everyone agrees that Peter Parker aka Spidey needs to be tracked down for his "treachery" but particularly for his abilities, CSS becomes troubled by a development when Carnage enters the plot, and thus a conflict between three different entities emerges: A fugitive Spider-Man, a morally indifferent CSS, and an all-out evil Carnage. So, thoughts?

Its sad that, ever since Suicide Squad, whenever a new movie comes out starring Jared Leto, the first thing people do is sigh as if what he did in Suicide Squad is going to be the same type of performance he is going to give in the next movie he is in. We just observed this with Alex's exasperated expression in this video, when Leto's name was mentioned by Angry Joe (0:00 - 0:10). While I admit that Leto's Joker left much to be desired, it should be kept in mind that this one bad performance should not be held against him. First, more than likely, it was David Ayer who probably directed Leto to fit in with more of a "street", "gangsta" or "urban" motif of the film. Secondly, Leto's Joker was relegated as a side character - almost a gimmick to attract audiences - so Leto could not fully flesh out the character. Finally, Leto is an Oscar winning actor. Hence, he definitely has the acting chops to give a good performance. He just needs to get the right role. Hopefully this is it. So, to make a long story short, don't hold one bad performance against the guy.

I am in good spirits about this one. I liked the Morbius character when I was younger and really into Spiderman. I had the first appearance of Morbius when I was a comic collector. I got to where I was tired of all the space they were taking and worry something would happen to my often expensive collection so fell out of it. Wish I still had that comic but things go that way sometimes. As someone who was into the character and faith in Jared Leto's ability as an actor I have fairly high hopes. It will be good to see the character come up and get some screen time.

his condition and the theater scene reminds me of an actual musician (i think violinist) that actually existed that had a physical condition which made him look like someone coming from a dracula demon movie or something, making people actually fear him and call him musician from hell which of course formed controversy with religion and what not, but still had his concerts and he owned the fact that he looked scary to people. i heard it once so i can't remember the details but yeah, i think it's a cool story.

I think Vulture gave me the biggest reaction in this entire trailer. It’s hard to summarize a movie just from its first trailer but I’m not really excited by it. Seeing as it’s made by Sony which made Venom (very dull), I’m not really sure if it’ll be good or not.
