I love the part when the Rhino got his powers from a drop of Rhinoceros blood and learned "with great horns, comes great horniness"

I loved the ending where Kraven says “there’s Six of us now, that’s rather Sinister”

Russell Crow sounding too good that he should be doing the voiceover for the guy actually playing Kraven

Kraven was a good guy in the 90's Spider-Man show. The animal-formula made him crazy in his first episode but after Spidey cured him he became his ally.

Gonna' make a Krav-illion dollars. Also, he was never an anti-hero, he's a straight up villain. He kills innocent people if they impede him, hunts for sport, and if targets don't want to play along he just kills people around them until they participate. He also has no problem hunting animals to extinction, as long as he can keep his thrill going. The guy is a straight up villain.

The thing that makes Kraven cool is not how he fights but how he hunts. If they make complex and detailed scenes of him scheming, planting traps and coming up with strategies to capture his prey, this movie can actually be great. But if it's just a generic guy with average super strength who brawls, I will probably check out before the end of the movie

This movie is gonna make Kravillion bucks at the box office.

Russell Crown acted more like Kraven on those few seconds than Aaron Taylor-Johnson in this trailer. Also if Aaron did russian accent for Quicksilver, why not here?

We need Morbius to show up in the post-credits to recruit Kraven. He doesn’t know how he got there, but it probably has something to do with Spider-Man.

I will admit, it is actually refreshing to a see Kraven actually KILLING people instead of lightly tapping people PG style. Not having any expectations for this at all but I will give credit to them actually going rated R this time when they couldn't before

Just looked up the comic book character on Wikipedia and it says that Kraven is a big game hunter and considers Spiderman the greatest hunt of all. So if he is going against poachers instead, it would make absolutely no sense...

Things I like: Aaron Taylor Johnson, action, and the director who made this is actually good. He made Triple Frontier. Stroy wise however, I don't know but I'm going to see it to support Aaron.

They pretty well put the entire movie in the trailer.

I think it would be interesting if it's a revenge plot where those aren't just poachers but those that work for his father who left him for dead. It is still an antihero movie but leans into the villain side because of his motivation.

The idea of building up Spider-Man's villain roster first before introducing a Spider-Man is pretty interesting but at the same time I have no idea if they'll pull it off. But I'm all for a Rated R Spider-Man projects if that's just a film about his villains or a Rated R Spider-Man film itself maybe something like Kraven's Last Hunt one of the darkest Spider-Man comics. I feel like Madam Webb will tie everything together and introduce this new Spider-Man, most likely set in Venoms Universe of Earth-688 along with the other Sony Spider-Man related projects. All Sony has to do is have the writers of Into the Spider-Verse write these live action Spider-Man films. Like at least have good writing that's all I want great stories and then focus on the visuals, action etc. I personally enjoyed the Venom films, mostly for Eddie and Venoms interactions but everything beyond this was a little underwhelming.

This is Kraven in name only, there is so much in here that just doesn't work for me not only as a fan of the comics but just as a film in general. Now I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I don't think I will be.

This looks real good. Good choice for Kraven. The trailer says right in it "villains aren't born, they're made" It's a villain origin story. And is it from the lion blood? He could just survive the attack and learn to make a potion in the wild.

%100 this film will tie into the Morbius, venom and vulture films. I place my whole life on the line for a post credit scene that hints of team up between those characters.

Was Russell Crowe doing an Ivan Drago impression or has that just become the base evil Russian accent? Maybe they should have gotten Dolph Lundgren. Also, doesn't DC's Catman have this backstory? He used to be a joke but the Suicide Squad did a story arc where he lived with lions and killed poachers. Also, Kraven's powers in this film seem kind of similar to Vixen from DC.

Sony building up Spider-Man's villains first with movies in theory is a really unique idea. However, they obviously fucked up the Venom movies with them being PG-13 and Morbius was just awful. On top of that.... THERE HAS BEEN NO PROMISE OF SPIDER-MAN AT ALL! The entire reason people would go out to see these movies is knowing there will be a Spider-Man payoff at the end but there has been ZERO information about that at all. So to fans, it just seems like we are getting absolutely below average films with no clear end in sight.

They will obviously tie this in with a postcredits scene with Morbius and Vulture!

The gap in quality between Sony's animated Spiderman movies and their live action Spiderman villain movies is...astonishing.

How did they go so far wrong on Kraven, especially after getting all that horrible feedback from Morbius (and to a lesser extent Venom 2)? Keep it simple, Sony. Make Kraven from the comics. I think we all want (and expect) a true villain story. Or if anything, at least align with what the new video game (spiderman 2) is doing with Kraven. This looks like silly garbage so far (and I like aaron taylor johnson in general).

From this trailer if Kraven wasn't an established villain, he could been a hero if they go that route by he got that superhero origin story. He got bit by a lion and the blood of the lion came in contact with his blood that gave him superhuman abilities. If he was a good guy, he would become Lion Man lol.

That last scene where he's fighting the gunmen,, you could replace Kraven with Morbius and there would be no difference. That's a failure in my opinion.

Why is Sony still trying this Sinister six universe thing like I honestly forget about this superhero cinematic universe along with 90% of the population. They should just do one more Venom movie, have Venom team up with Spider-Man and then call it day. Okay so a couple things here, they are intended on him being a villain, in the trailer it says villains aren’t born they are made so it’s a villain. Second an final thing rhino has always been a skin thing, he’s a tragic character in the comics because of the forced mutation

Interesting. It has the potential to be different than a run of the mill comic hero/villain film.

Basic story, bad dialogue, okayish acting, sub-par special effects, and horribly directed fight scenes.......whats new? this is just some cash grab like what all the other big movie franchises are putting out nowadays to appeal to the low IQ movie watchers who think action is everything

At a guess? Kraven becomes more and more addicted to the thrill of the hunt. To quote Hemmingway: "There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter." And then he'll just have to push it further and further leading to him hunting other powered beings.

Kraven is a poacher in the comics his whole gimmick is that he is hunting unique and endangered animals and he hunts spider-man because he claims spider-man is the most unique animal of them all

So lions blood rather than a concoction he uses. Also he loves the hunt but his ego is what makes him a threat to other hunters since they are interrupting the game. If they do the Spiderman route then it's gonna probably be him loosing and putting a bullet in spider mans head. Also 🦏 in some comics is a hybrid and some what wears a suit but he was mutated

Show predictions 1. Strong black woman 2. A woman who is smarter than kraven or is his guide 3. Toxic masculinity trope 4. Kraven nerfed 5. Not funny but trying to be 6. Weak action scenes 7. Political messaging beat over your head. 8. Corny music 9. Bad dialogue and writing in general

I'm just looking forward to seeing Kraven in Spider-Man 2, which is ALSO in October! Along with introducing Venom, it looks like a VERY fun game :)

Man theres people in the comment section who seriously think sony has a plan to get another spiderman movie going and attach all these projects to it. This isnt the groundwork for another film series, this is sony grabbing at whatever they can to make to desperately make money off a character theyre not allowed to use.

That Lion is more than likely going to be some kind of experiment or a “perfect prey” that was engineered by the father. It just looks so much more muscular than a normal lion.
