I am surprised you watch this garbage. The film has Jared Leto who shouldn't be playing Morbius. It's prodiuced by Sony Pictures who is trash at making good live action superhero content since 2014. Not to mention Sony is just trying to copy the MCU. Gosh I can't wait until Deadline reports that Breaking News! Sony Pictures get's bought out that will be the day we can say goodbye to Sony's universe forever.

Venom isn't canon to the sacred timeline so who cares. Also connecting to a piece of garbage is a mistake. So expect that franchise to end in the next 3 years. If analysts are to be believed.

I'm honestly pretty hyped about this. Sure as a vampire mythology fan, I'm sad to see the supernatural aspects of it gone. But I'm still happy about getting something a tiny bit different. I like the way Sony is going with making movies about the "bad guys" instead of the golden heroes. I'm also interested how it will all connect later on, especially with Rhino and Black Cat soon joining the Sony Universe.

The supernatural aspects are still very much there in the marvel universe just morbius isn’t a undead vampire he is the first of his kind. There are still conventional vampires in the marvel universe

Isn’t the history of Morbius that he’s not your typical traditional and mystical Vampire but a mutated human/bat hybrid hence “the living Vampire” so it all works for me and I’m looking forward to this movie. Also it’s set to release after Spidy NWH so who knows how the universes will be left after that movie

I mean we all know that the multiverse is collapsing and all this different things we see from the MCU, Raimi and Webb universes all in the trailer could be the result of that multiverse collapsing. I mean Sony and Marvel are working together, right? It'll all make sense in the end.

Erik, with all due respect I think you’re overlooking a pretty simple solution: Morbius existed(just as a doctor) in the same universe as venom and either became the living vampire right before Eddie was thrown into the MCU or right after that. Also yeah I’m pretty excited for this seems like you went a tad hard on it

They made two references to Venom (that thing in San Francisco) and then the "I am Venom" line. But you can also turn up the volume on the trailer itself a little so we can hear both instead of mostly dead air. Noticed Vulture there as well!

I think that after no way home, a bunch of universes like the venom verse, Marc web verse, etc will all have certain parts mix over to the mcu which could explain all the multiverse crossovers

Perhaps the break in the Multiverse causes the timelines to merge creating one timeline where all universes exist. Hence raimi suit/daily bugle logo, mcu Vulture, venom verse references and tasm oscorp logo appearing in this movie together?

@@branlee7269 this should just be the Morbius movie, all I’m saying is that we should enjoy this movie for what it brings us, not for the expectations of it being in the MCU, the first Venom worked because (first of all because It was actually pretty cool) we knew it wasn’t tied into the MCU so it existed In it’s own bubble away from MCU expectations, I love the MCU but these films are about the character and their story, not just some tie-in to your other favorite comic book character, just my two cents

I just want to know what this is about. Seems like Morbious had an aliment, becomes a vampire to heal himself, and he gets hunted as he learns about his powers. But, is this a Jackel/Hyde story, or is there a different antagonist he has to overcome?

It took me a while to understand, But I think that this is a sign that the Venom universe, The Morbius universe, The Toby Maguire universe, The Andrew Garfield universe, And the MCU are all now combined to create one big universe.

Well look at the no way home trailer, strange breaks the multiverse, so it connects the andrew villains and the raimi villains together, whats confusing people is that its showing tobeys spiderman with "murderer" plastered over him when we know from the raimi trilogy, he never actually wanted to murder anyone and the only people he did actually murder was eddie brock. So it doesnt line up

It looks like the plot will go something like this. The first 1/3 is around Morbius’ origin we have seen in the trailer. He’s found on the boat and arrested and taken to the cube. The 2nd 1/3 is set year after the boat incident. The city has had a string of murders with clear vampire feedings happening. The police need help and get Morbius from the cube to help them locate the killer. Morbius helps find the source of the killings which is hunger, Morbius realises it’s crown and crown has done the murders so Morbius would be freed to find him. The final 1/3 is Morbius hunting down hunger in full OP mode.

I like how the film tells vampires could exist in actual reality with the use of science not some fantasy made up stuff. it's like saying how mass media tells people that zombies could be possible because of a disease/virus, but in actual reality zombies can exist with the use of a parasite that controls a human's brain/neurological system.
