Your videos have been awesome, I’ve been worried about setting up the egg boxes and making sure I have everything 100% correct so I don’t ruin the eggs, I appreciate you taking the time to go through things like this, I will be trying this method for my first clutches at the end of this year!

Cool video. Always used perlite gonna try just water next time. Love those govee digital thermometers too i got a bunch of those are the best. I Like your content enjoy your videos been watching for a few years keep it up.

Good video I usually just take the press n seal off on day 50… also what is your incubator set to and what is the temp usually in the boxes, my boxes are usually a half of a degree cooler than what the temp is inside the incubator

Could you tell me what brand or model number your thermometers are. Or maybe someone could share their thoughts on that. I don't trust the ones I used in my first breeding season.

No, not for a few minutes. I bet the temp of the actual eggs barely fluctuated

See now this method makes sense and it seems like it would be much easier to keep the environment sterile this way. I was going to do this same type of thing and wipe it down with alcohol first and then put reverse osmosis water in there, seal it and let them go. I mean you're keeping them at 100% humidity anyways basically so why more people haven't thought of this is beyond me. I'm definitely switching over to this method

I actually just looked and Reptichip doesn't have them available anymore. IDK why? They were called Easy Hatch trays if you can find them somewhere else.

I've never actually had one, but how long has it been? From what I've seen/heard they usually pass them by themselves. It can even take a few days

sadly if your animals egg bound and you have no exp go to a vet immediately, don't try to follow nerd videos albeit good info, you can damage your snake if you go in nervous and un-practiced look up vet techniques to practice birth canal stuff (you dont have the time now) . Also, your rat supply is likely low quality, snake LTD doesn't have this issue because he raises his rats (as you should also, you are breeding snakes but not rats? why?)
