AJJ is an absolutely fantastic band, their albums "people who can eat people are the luckiest people on the world" , "only god can judge me and more" , and their newest album "good luck everybody" are full of songs I don't think I could ever get tired of

Never thought I would feel both grateful and overwhelmed for having to listen to so much music and the big amount I still have to discover. That said, I really recommend this band called Good Kid. I personally think their music it's amazing and really well produced. I guess to get the feeling of the band the song I would recommend is Slingshot.

They are so inspiring, every teen girl has said "OMG MCR SAVED MY LIFE!" but they really have for me. more than once actually. these 4 kind men have changed my life for the better. My chem has been this consistent beacon for me, During days where I struggled the most I found myself finding comfort in their songs. Their art has inspired me throughout the years to try and make my own art. When I need to be calmed down or comforted I turn to their music.
One band that has quite a different sound from the bands on this list that I really like is Tally Hall. I’d say Spring and the Storm is a good representation of their style and sound.
Hey Nate, if you can, I highly recommend the flaming lips. The early 90s stuff is a very weird form of post punk and the late 90s to Early 2000s stuff is just super trippy. I highly recommend the soft bulletin or yoshimi Battles the pink Robots. They both have two different sounds but you can still tell it's the same artist. They're music is such a weird experience. You should really check them out.
ay yuh i know this comment's gonna get buried but like... Bryan Scary's one of my favorite artists and his album Flight of the Knife is one of my favorites of all time... idk if it's something you'd like but he is criminally underrated and at the very least if it's not your thing you can appreciate the RIDICULOUSLY great instrumentals and sheer amount of musical talent this dude has. all his albums are good. almost every single song is just [chefs kiss]. so much energy, so much experimentation, glamorous, eccentric and totally undeniably his. once you listen to one (1) album (or even just a few songs) of his you'll instantly be able to tell when a song is this dude's because he's just that standout. my point is... everyone who reads this comment needs to listen to Bryan Scary right now
Hey Nate. A really good not very well known band is Kind of Like Spitting. He's been in the scene for a supa long time but hasn't gotten a whole hell of a lot of recognition for his work. Check him out if you haven't. It's well worth it. A couple super good songs are: Birds of a Feather, Dodge Dart, Canaries, Old Moon Meet New, and Blue Period. Any of those should suffice but Birds of a Feather is my favorite. Another great video, keep it up ❤

The Shins are one of my favorite bands. My mom used to play them in her car when I was but a wee lad and when I rediscovered them I was booty slapped by a wave of nostalgia
Saint Motel is so so amazing! I can't get over how much I love the For Play and Voyeur albums. "At least I have nothing", "dear dictator", and "you do it well" are my favorites.
Hey Nate! Have you ever listened to Tigers Jaw? I'm just getting into them but I can already tell they are fantastic. They sound nostalgic, melancholy, but also hopeful at the same time. They tackle sad teenage topics like dead, friendships, love, and just feeling lonely and hopeless. The self titled debut sounds like the after party of an amazing night out with your closest friends, when you just feel relaxed and open enough to talk about feelings and those sappy things with those people you hold so dearly to your heart as you all laugh and have a great time. I HIGHLY recommend Tigers Jaw.
I’ve seen them live! Not my cup of tea. I think their sound is a little flat and their energy lacks a lot of the dynamics I look for. They’re talented fs but not for me.
