At first I was very disappointed in J. Cole as a hip-hop fan. Competition and beef and pulling people out and proving you’re the best was one of the foundations of hip-hop. After I actually thought about it, I respect J. Cole more for apologizing because it was genuine and what nobody expecting him to do. It is fun for us as fans to hear the beef, but to be honest more times than not it always goes somewhere it shouldn’t and somebody will take it too far and become very disrespectful and it will become very negative very fast. I can’t fault a man for apologizing publicly and asking God to return him to his higher purpose. J. Cole does talk about how he is the best and raps about being on top, but to be honest, he never really would attack anybody negatively and it was all just sport. I think he just saw where things were going to go and realize that’s not what he wanted. He is still one of the best rappers out there.

Some people don’t realize that hip-hop is such a powerful tool that when used wisely can bring you great success, and friendly competition, but when it is used negatively or used incorrectly it can bring destruction just like black Pegasus said. J. Cole, did what he did because he knew what’s going on behind-the-scenes and he knew how much bigger this is going to get. And doesn’t want to be dissing his friend to lose one. I believe we could get a J Cole and Kendrick Collab somewhere down the line. We got one with Em and Nas. Eventually it’ll happen. But right now Kendrick gotta put some of these industry manufactured clowns to sleep

Love it a lot will be tuned in to see what you guys do in the future. I think it’s great. I dig what you guys were talking about around the 50 minute mark. In reference to how we receive info, and living in the age of AI generated content. Something Knox said around the 52 minute mark as far as students being taught how to separate disinformation and misinformation from the truth. Sure, eventually once you start having to write essays, you get to learn about sources, citing them, and what teachers and institutions consider acceptable sources, but schools need to revamp the whole thing, and begin teaching that at a younger age. I also want to make a point of saying that if you’re paying attention, there is one side of the political spectrum that is trying to abolish public schools, and privatize education. which means that if you’re rich, you can send your kid to private school and they get an education. If you’re poor, your kid doesn’t go to school, unless you school them at home, which is exactly what they need to keep themselves elected. Bc, uneducated folks are more likely to elect people whom are dishonest because they are unaware of how to discern the truth from the lies

Let's get one thing clear, people: J. Cole will FOREVER have his spot solidified in the big 3. I was one of the main people seeing creators gas him up and say "7MD was fire" and disagree respectfully for it. I called out multiple times that Cole can run the bars with Kendrick but it's slim to none that he could win. But he puts out a diss, retracts it, and y'all are just gonna take away every single time this guy cooked everybody on a track? INCLUDING DRAKE (who y'all are saying is holding his own against everybody dissing him). Listen to FPS again and remind me who had the better verse. Listen to almost any feature from J. Cole and someone else and let me know in the past decade who had the best verse. Cole isn't battle tested. So what? He might not be the best alive when it comes to dissing his compatriots, but this dude would and has cooked almost EVERYONE who was on a track with him. Only person who actually tested Kendrick on a track who is in his generation was big sean. . . And big Sean's verses was both dope, but we all know who REALLY won that. I bet you it wouldn't be any different if Cole was on the track with Sean also. So name anyone in that generation of rap and after who is gonna go bar for bar with Cole and beat him that isn't Kendrick. . . .

There was a *lot* of public pressure on cole specifically to respond. Nobody was really expecting drake to respond if you go watch 7 minute drill reactions when it came out.
