A subscriber posed a very good question on whether the same results could be obtained with scrap sheet. So I gave it a try.
I also tackled 7 gauge sterling 925 with my Sondiko butane torch and got some surprising results. So at this time, any gauge of wire is going to give you results.

Thank Sonne Creations for demonstrating this. I never knew of that technique. I figured out a unique method of making water casts 25+ years ago using Stg Silver scrap. I used a frying pan of simmering water and poured 10-15 grams of molten Stg silver, from a mini crucible into the hot water. Very interesting results. If you jump into this video at around 30 sec's, it shows some of the results. @@wonbadood8243 Oh my! Your designs are absolutely stunning. I love your style very much. I used to do water casting, broom casting, bean and rice casting but never achieved designs such as yours. Makes me want to try again!
