Is the arch support really supportive or is it just some king of trigger for your brain? I ask because I have a really flat right foot thus making my right knee lean inward and causing pain while cycling.
I'm going to say both! I developed a Baker's Cist behind one knee playing hockey, a few years ago now. Between training and playing, I never got any respite. Got custom 3/4 length insoles from a podiatrist and "Boom!", pretty much no more discomfort from the very next day. I still have them as well as using Superfeet insoles for everyday shoes (flat arches) and I recommend either. I'm here out of interest (and very late to the party) but what is being said makes very good sense. Disclaimer: I'm uninterested in Watts, rather comfort and long days in the saddle.
