The position thing where it subtracts everything was recently patched,Along with the Audio issues. I think the reason why you had +41 reputation is because there are 3 extra drivers that alternate in races (in vs mode not in career for some reason) and since non of those 3 drivers don’t race they never can become rivals with them. Also 2 things to note:The lack of new paint schemes is incredibly annoying and 2,The audio in the pit stops actually is audio just recycled back from heat 5. How do I know? BECAUSE THE AUDIO IN THE PIT STOPS HAS THE PIT CREW CHANGING 6 LUG NUTS…..WHEN THE NEXT GEN CAR OBVIOUSLY HAS 1 on top of that the pits stops take 15-16 seconds when with the next gen car they should be slightly shortened

The fact those issues were even present to begin with in the game is still just like...hello?? Motorsport Games?? Interesting to note about those 3 extra drivers, didn't know about them. And here I thought the recycling of content couldn't get any worse. Not surprised to hear about MG being unable to count the lug nuts and pit stop times given the numerous number errors in the game, patched or still in the game. Math/Numbers in coding isn't their strong suit it seems 😆

It's a huge shame at what's going on within Motorsport Games and NASCAR games in general, the last one I've actually played was NASCAR The Game: Inside Line (which btw I felt it was pretty solid for a Eutechnyx-made game). Anyway, nicely made video, dude!

It really is, I agree. I remember back when Nascar 21 Ignition was about to be released, this was a while after Codemasters, the people behind games like the Formula One games, was acquired by EA. I remember even writing out a comment on one of the promotional videos that MG published on RU-vid for the game where I basically said, "Hey, the Formula One video game series is on a downward slope now with EA as the publisher, this is Nascar's chance!" I even said, quoting directly from my comment here, "Either way, Ignition has a big opportunity to put NASCAR games on people's radars again, and so far it's looking good!" ...And to see how that chance was handled is really upsetting For one reason or another, younger me skipped Inside Line. I take it that the game is very similar to The Game 2011 given Inside Line was the follow up? Thanks! Glad you enjoyed! 😄

what makes the pit crew thing worse is on nascar heat ultimate + there IS a pit crew when you pit on green (yellow.. it just skips to the green flag)

You're right about the decline in quality of the games, but I think everything up to 09 is pretty good ( I haven't played 09 but heard good things.) Chase for the Cup is my favorite. The only other good nascar game after that is Inside Line, which was surprisingly quite good despite some glitchyness.

I honestly thought NASCAR Ignition would be the next big step in NASCAR gaming. However instead, Motorsport Games made a game that caused the NASCAR game community to crash (pun intended) so hard its hilarious The fact that its been now 20+ years since NASCAR gaming was at the top is really a sad story

Golden age was papyrus on the pc. Died soon after ea sports took over. Now you need a monster pc to play iracing since the other system games suck.

Heat 5 was actually good. Nascar 16 was great too. Rivals is actually good on Switch, for what it is. Ignition is TERRIBLE. The worst. But NOTHING can beat Nascar Racing 2003.

NR2003 is a simulator focused on realism, not really an arcade type racing game, but it is the best simulator we have for nascar right now. I wish someone would make a more up-to-date and functional simulator though, the AI and graphics would be much better in a new one.
