As much as i hate it in real life, i wish train racing was in the game. I'd love to be able to rim ride the wall but...i slide up top and boom i went from 1st to 39th in .3 seconds
The truth right here. Like the racing is fun, but never being able to just ride around like they do in real life can be annoying. Using strategy to get up front to control both lines is fun, but to get there you have to set a long race and get super lucky the AI doesn't wreck every few laps.
For pit stop strategy, you’re describing undercutting (come in first hoping that you can make up the lost time when everyone goes to pit after you) and overcutting (staying out when the lead car goes in hoping that you can gain enough time during his pit stop and on his out lap so that you can pit later without losing much position)
I stay getting my ass whooped in this game. Im an above average gamer meaning I'm usually in the top 10 pencentile of players once I get how a game works. This game is proof on how much of a sport racing is seriously.... The micromanaging and micro inputs that make you win or lose are CRAZY! I LOVE IT. But for some reason Kyle Busch gives me HELL in career mode like no other, i did his yard and landscaping when he was building his currently home in Lake Norman, NC. Makes me want to go knock on his door myself and ask him what the hell his problem is 😂 off the track though and outside of his racing mindset he is a really cool guy though. Still a smartass though lol
A steering wheel helps a lot too with slight brake pushes and throttles in and out of corners. If you do t have a wheel save and get one worth it make sure it's force feedback
@@nolancain8792I've been playing for a few weeks and I'm already getting the hang of the slight inputs. Messing with the steering and throttle settings to dial it in helps a ton.
I will say this, dirty air does exist in this game, being tucked in behind someone then pulling low to go inside of them will tend to make the car push a little bit, so, I always practice my setups around cars, I practice and adjust the car until i am able to make clean passes on them without pushing or getting lose, making sure its a clean pass, then of course ill go back, and see how that "dirty air" setup is when im in clean air, and make adjustments accordingly.
Turn the break assist off for all the tracks and just learn when to use the breaks...and when to let off the gas...its really not that hard...just takes some time
And don’t forget be gentle with the brake pedal ease into it and don’t be scared to play with your braking I like my brakes usually around 65-75 percent so my brakes are mostly on the front and if I jam the brakes I don’t start getting squirley lol
@@fabriciolamana4106 I have a wheel, and it is uncomfortable as hell, but I am about 3 seconds off pro league compared to 10 with my controller because my line sucks. This is over the course of a 50% long race
I like the video, but the way you said pitting early and a caution coming out that will put you in first isn’t true. Say you pit early, and the caution comes out. You will probably be a lap down, and you will probably take the wave around. Then you will be the last car on the lead lap, and probably somewhere in the 30s at a normal 1.5 mile track.
I'm not really educated at the game but I'm having trouble in turns my car slides way to much going into turns and I'll lose control and I can't figure out why. Can anyone give me some advice?
I really like this game but I think I will have to break down and buy a wheel for this game. The controller steering, especially on wide corners like Daytona, is too jerky.
Thank you for the video! But it didn’t help me, unfortunately. I have problem on tracks where a car gets too fast for a turn so I need to stop throttle way before it or apple a break, but whatever I do, I’m always slow on turns. It got to the point that I cant even achieve a goal time in the career :(
I’m a little late man, but try to just ease off the gas a bit before the turn and put a little on until you get halfway, depending on the style of the turn
@@blablabla3raza There's 4 types of tracks. Super speedway, full throttle 99% of the time Speedway, ease off the throttle going into the turn until you reach the apex then get back on it to keep your line Short track, brake early into the turn and get back onto the throttle at the apex of your turn to maximize exit velocity Road courses kinda combine all of the above into different things, you just kinda gotta figure out the different corners but you can use the above tips to figure it out. Always remember that when pressing or releasing the brake or throttle to be smooth with it, you'll be surprised how less often you'll get loose when you apply the pedals smoothly Good luck
I’m having so much trouble, I just started playing, I did a whole truck series, and tried to start with my own car, and I upgrade stuff and try tuning and it just never gets to the speed the AI’s are at. So I tried a cup series, joined a team so they would upgrade the car and whatever, and still, I’m so slow, and the cars go right past me 😂😂😂, I tried everything! Only thing I’m good at is the dirt derby racing! The cars they give me just don’t have speed
If you have assists on your going to go slower. If your in career mode and your not with a five star team your going to be slower unless you get momentum boost. Check custom setups for different tracks on RU-vid.
My problem is when ever I break my car likes to turn right so I have to fight with my car when I race at short tracks or road courses when going in a turn it’s not stick drift so does anyone know how to fix this
Turn your driving aids down. Basically put the game on Hard at least if you havent. Also focus on smooth entry into your corners. Slow down a bit and yoy can carry more speed through the whole corner, then have more upon exit. Run straight and smooth lines. Every time you go back and forth across the track you are going slower. Good luck!
@@casondajoint9505 yep. Also on short tracks and road courses you can’t just gun it around a corner, you have to ease into the gas if you don’t want to spin out
It's not even like theyre slightly faster than you due to setups, it that on some tracks like Pocono, Martinsville, and the road courses they just straight up have more HP than you
You dont suck they just n iggered out the games to where AI has like 3 more gears than you. See on short tracks they Zoom fuckin past? Yeah not fuckin possible
