This is it, right here. This is what I have been looking for! Original Video: • UNLEASH THE ARCHERS - ... www.twitch.tv/braindeadreact #react #reaction #british #music #entertainment
Loved the reaction! Exactly my thoughts when i first started getting into this band. You have to check out "the wind that shapes the land" by them. IMO their best song 👌
@BraindeadBreakdown thanks for the reply! There's no music video for that song, but their guitarist reckons it's one of their best. I've been falling down the rabbit hole that is unleash the archers for a while now, hope you enjoy 😉
Agreed I think The Wind That Shapes the Land is their best, but not sure the emotion of it hits quite as hard if you haven't gone on the Apex/Abyss album journey
IMMORTAL IS MORE THAN A NAME! AWAKENING To look up into the night's sky, to see the stars they are changed To know a thousand years or more have passed, and I am the same This mountain hollow that keeps me in a suffocating embrace A prison and a safe haven, it's always been this way Lo, a new master calls me to awakening, I know this one brings the end Far out beyond the darkness I've been living in it's true, a whole new world awaits Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night Once again revitalized, to roam; to never die My path begins with the new dawn; a voice is calling my name It always starts as whispering then manifests to a scream I'm drawn to the creature that wakes me, bound to them by the curse My soul exists only to serve, a covenant of birth Fear not the task ahead there's no escaping it, there's no good nor evil here Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night Once again revitalized, to roam; to never die Come to me, awakening Follow my voice, come to me Fear not the task ahead there's no escaping it, there's no good nor evil here Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night Once again revitalized, to roam; to never Lighting my way in the night To roam; to never die
I've been in love with Unleash The Archers since I learned of them in the middle of 2023. I can't believe I never heard of them before. But absolutely love their music and your reaction resembles very much my reaction every time I play them!
I just found these band yesterday. I'm old, and you are correct. I heard Judas Priest when I heard the vocals...sure 'nuff. I checked out an interview with her and the first name out of her mouth was Rob Halford...
There's a video on YT of Brittney going to karaoke after a gig and singing Queen of the Reich. It blows me away. Arjen of Ayreon heard that video and knew he had to work with her. Look up her Star One performance and her performances in the latest live Ayreon concert
They’re lead singer. Britney is an iron maiden fan. I definitely recommend tonight we ride if you’re mad max fan Cleanse the Bloodlines is also really gTheir lead singer. Britney is an iron maiden fan. I definitely recommend tonight we ride if you’re mad max fan Cleanse the Bloodlines is also really good song as well
Great Reaction. I found UTA early on in 2020 right at the beginning of everything... And they quicky went right to the top as my favorite band and haven't budged at all since. They are just fantastic in so many ways.
Virtuoso galloping power metal with a very powerful vocalist. Excellent. This is my favourite track from my favourite UTA album. Great story to their albums (one epic saga across multiple albums) and great music too.
"Terminator 1" ...Funny you should say that. Arjen Anthony Lucassen had her in to do a Star One song about Terminator 1, called Fate Of Man, you should check it out if you have not yet. Also if you haven't done Ayreon (Lucassen's biggest project afaik), start with The Day That the World Breaks Down.
Tonight We Ride...killer tune. Also maybe check out "Test Your Metal" (for a very traditional 80s metal vibe) and she does a karaoke version of "Queen of the Reich " by Queensrÿche (just search "Brittany Slays karaoke") it was recorded at a karaoke bar in Scotland AFTER a UTA concert ....it's insane!
The title track of that album "Apex" is everything you asked for more of. 100% would recommend. This and that song are far and wide the best tracks of that album, and that whole album is nothing but bangers already! Edit: Just noticed you already did that song by now. Shows me for not looking at it better already. Gonna watch it now!
Welcome to the UTA rabbit hole....... Abyss, General of the Dark Army, Cleanse the Bloodlines, Soulbound,........... they have SO many great songs. Enjoy the ride! Save "The Wind That Shapes The Land" for later in the journey. Many consider it their Magnum Opus.
Queen Brittany Slayes goes higher than every mountain, her voice defeats death. Go on with your amazing journey discovering the archers. 1. Abyss 2. Faster than light 3. Tonight we ride 4. Legacy 5. Northwest passage If you are not addicted after hearing these list, you will never get 😅 I will be addicted for the rest of my life and cheer my Queen
Great reaction! This does happen to be my favorite band! Yep, they are not only flawless live, but they drive through 2 hours of songs with similar complexity and energy. Just to show a tad about how much I love em, I started my own channel with the sole purpose of interviewing Brittney one day, and it was the best hour of my life! My daughter also has guitar lessons with Grant.
10:16 HEY!!!We are NOT known as "Hey bassist"!!! Excuse me, you ought to know that we are called "Hey...you...whatsurname? You want a piece of this solo?"
5:13 Metal Brother! You Must Listen "Beast in Black", if you enjoy the 80s metal (I was a teenager in that era) but bringed to modern days sound, you´re duty is Listen that band, and PLEASE, "Battle Beast" too, Noora Louhimo's voice is AMAZING. Greeting from Argentina.
This IS my favorite band, and I'll happily watch you go down the UTA rabbit hole. Honestly, Apex and Abyss are both incredible concept albums that tell a single story. They were my albums of their respective years (although I didn't discover UTA until a year or two after Apex came out).
Since you like power metal 'Iron Maiden Style'. I've got another band for you to check out: Lovebites I recommend their live song 'The Hammer Of Wrath'.
@@BraindeadBreakdownIf you do "The Hammer of Wrath" please do the live 2023 "Knocking at Heavens Gate" version and make sure you strap yourself in, these ladies, yes all female, are insane musicians. 😊
If thats what youre looking for, then yes, UtA is where its at. Liliac has a certain classic flavour to them as well, not really new, but symphony x, avantasia, surely there are a couple more out there that im unaware of or forgetting.
'Awakening`, of course. 'Tonight we Ride', sure. But FINALLY ... FINALLY a Reactor who goes further to 'Apex' and `The Wind ...'. Thanks Mate, i love it. And yes, they do put it out Live 😁
Great reaction. Take my advice, react to the song "the wind that shapes the land" by unleash the archers. I believe it's the best power metal song I have ever listened to and at my 49 I have listened to a lot metal. There is no video though.
You're going in reverse from where I started. Saw you doing sleep token most recently and am on for the ride. Seeing you doing jinger and unleash the archers now is great!
Everyone is going to comment Tonight we Ride. It is an amazing song. Go against the grain and do Cleanse the Bloodlines or General of the Dark Army. You won't regret it!
Has anyone tossed Lorna Shore out there as a recommendation yet? “To The Hellfire” has a nasssssty solo. Actually, all their songs do. And you must be familiar with Trivium, right? If not, they might be all the way up your alley, I’m thinking.
Trivium are one of the only 2 bands I have seen live! I saw them in Ipswich on "The Crusade" Tour in 2007, it was great! Lorna Shore is one of the bands I am going to be looking at very soon as well 😊
Check out Electric Callboy for more uplifting/feel good music (Hypa Hypa, We Got the Moves, MC Thunder, and Tekkno Train should be 1st looks). It isnt power metal like UtA, but damn its some of the catchy-ist stuff ive ever heard.
Unfortunately, I can't react to those. I found EC last year and have become quite familiar with the back catalogue. I love that band! I got even got the limited Tekkno vinyl on launch 😂 I will be happy to react to them in the future when they release music that I haven't heard 😊
@@BraindeadBreakdown Same dude who produced Star One, that I mentioned in my previous post, Arjen Lucassen. This isn't a rabbit hole, it's a full scale warren. The last singer in "The Day the World Breaks Down" is the lead for Nightwish. Then there's the lead singer for Epica in there, plus Symphony X etc. etc. How much time do you have?
I think you're gonna also like a lot a Greek band called Sacred Outcry...in their last album there's the goat of metal singers Daniel Heiman. there are 2 singles from this album called "Towers of gold" and "The flame rekindled"...check them out (probably best power metal album of 2023)
That track is from their APEX album. Every song is a fucking masterpiece. The whole album is a metal opus magnum.I am not a fan of their recent record though,I must admit. But Apex fucking kicks ass.
