MORE PROBLEMS TESTING THE CROW... BIG CHIEF GETTING READY FOR WAR IN THE WOODS 

I’ve always ran my valves one side at a time after I warm my car up to temp I run one side. Then warm it up again and run the other side to set them. I’ll check them cold just making sure I have no problems. That’s the way a old drag racer taught me when I started out 20 years ago. Is that wrong? My buddy that I race with does his the same way. But was taught by the same mechanic. I guess it’s according where you set them. There’s not a big difference between it being cold or hot. Thinking he wants them set when it’s at temp where it’ll be running. I know you know what your doing. Just wondering.

Chief and Jackie, I'm literally 5 minutes from the track War in the woods is happening at. Now I don't have a shop full of pontiac stuff but I do have all the tools, mills, lathes and welders and plenty of contacts if you need anything. If you need help while your there feel free to reach out.

Went back and watched the crow dominate at Bristol. Was cool to see Shawn help him out and the 405 stick together as a crew, seems like discovery tried throwing a wrench in there for better TV. This is far more interesting to me, testing breaking shit, fixing shit, that’s the real fun stuff lol

The laugh at "2 bumps" killed me... Because I have a feeling that another kind of bump came to mind (the thing you use to start your car) which made Chief laugh as well.

I look so forward to your videos, Even though I have never raced a car in my life I have always been around them. You and Jackie are such a pair that ya'll make me laugh all the time. It's amazing what an electrical problem in a car or boat can do to the mind. you go places and try to find issues that just don't exist. People just don't realize how something so simple as dropping a few volts or amps can change the entire outcome of the process. I am glad that you got it fixed and now that you completed your restore on the distributor you should be golden. Can't wait to see more videos of testing and then some races.....Jackie, loved your jokes. The undercover one was awesome, I was gonna say pigs in a blanket...I respect all law enforcement. just wasn't expecting undercover...that was good. Keep'm coming ya'll

I really like how chief doesn't just throw parts on the car to fix it, he has to know what actually happened. And then proceedes to explain in great detail how/what he did to fix it. Reminds me of myself with the gotta know how it works deal. 🤣

I absolutely love this stuff!! This is _real_ racing, real street racing. Hell, I do the same thing but just on a smaller scale, and down on Exchange st., lol. Also, like I said last time, the quality of your editing improves exponentially with every video, Jackie. The stuff like putting Justin's words on screen (slightly adjusted lol) about the voltage, or the zoom-in cuts when he says or does something funny, work really well in these style of video. Perhaps, even edits like a 0:01s long clip of a nuclear explosion after the drum popped on you, or a similarly quick full-screen lightning bolt with Justin's voice super loudly distorted saying: "all the voltage", but very quick cuts. Great job including the passes/burnout clips, as Chief was talking about them. Or how you included a clip of the Crow starting with "a bang" after Justin mentioned it. Like I said, the improvement is marked in every video, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that we really appreciate the time and effort on both sides of the camera. Great Job!🙏🏼🙏🏼

@ Jackie Braasch , I don’t think you get enough credit for your knowledge and skills in racing, You and Chief are a perfect team. I’m convinced that you two could crew for ANY car including any of those NPK guys who have the very BEST of parts equipment and budget and you all could turn any of those first round ducks and have them winning races in virtually no time. Chief your tuning skills are right on par with any of the “ star tuners” like Steve Petty. I’ve even shared many of your videos with friends who are FAR more knowledgeable about race cars than me, and they’ve told me how much your videos have helped them. Great great video as usual !

Liking your videos, I’m building a race truck but probably have my son drive it. I’m 63 and know my reactions have slowed down, you bring it back to real life explaining the problems. I love horsepower , I love the feel . Enjoy my friend and I grew up racing pontiacs unfortunately I had to switch to Chevy to get the power I wanted at a reasonably price

I live next to our shop and there always seems to be a couple empty barrels with all the bungholes sealed out back, and they do that poppin shit the worst in the winter, when the sun hits em in the mornin and they heat up they pop out and at night after it gets good and cool an dark and creepy they pop back in at the very moment you walk right next to em! I enjoyed the Chief and Jackie trailer time talk, can't wait to see more!

You are spot on with your analysis of the ignition system. Think of it like SWR on an antenna system. If the power can't radiate through the antenna it is reflected back to the source to be absorbed. There will be excessive stress on the capacitor dump components and much ringing in the inductors. A perfect storm for electrical overstress. This was the problem on the GM's in the 70's (much lower energy ignition system of course) if the carbon spark plug wires went bad, or the distributor rotor, you would blow the ignition module in a NY second. If you can say, is it a plasma box, or a hot CD system?
