I'm so glad you guys are back in the street. The other guys from tv (and their fans) get all salty at me when I ask them if they're ever gonna street race again. Apparently racing the same spot for 6 weeks until you can lose your shoes at the starting line is street racing, because it was a street before it got shut down lined with cameras lights safety equipment and emergency services.

Brian Davis has always come across as driver who just wants a fair race, he gives the other driver as much time as needed if for some reason they are having trouble getting to the starting line. Nice to see him getting a win. Chief has always been the same way too, if a driver needs time, I can’t remember Chief ever saying no. Good luck in your next race Chief, hopefully we’ll get the chance of seeing you in more races, I’ve always have been fascinated how much quicker you are compared to other drivers in your reaction time at the start.

Brian got a name from grudge racing. Which is arguing over technicalitys all night and maybe getting one race done for big money. Preferably with a unfair advantage in et. Compete opposite of the type of street racing Texas was known for. I think Chucky was just getting tired of the unfair street racing that SO does. Only letting the home team test on the road. if ur cars fast, only having a slow car race you or putting you on a pea gravel road. Picking slow cars to join your "team" etc. Chucky just seemed to be genuinely happy and suprised that limpy didn't favor Texas or 405 cars. Was so used to getting screwed at some point for the race. Also talked about how he can't keep up with the high dollar cars on TV and doesn't have the pockets to join them.

This was one of my favorite videos you 2 have done. I absolutely love just listening to the 2 of you banter back n forth telling stories. It's so much more realistic and honestly "interesting" than the show was. I'm in my 50's now and haven't done any serious street racing in almost 20 years. Listening to you 2 really makes me want to tear into the mint C5 I have and get back after it.

I'm 33, I've been street racing since I was 14, and I've only made 5 hits on an actual track (shoutout Lancaster Speedway!), and they were all on the same Friday night lol. Like I told the Wife, who agrees wholeheartedly lol, I'll be in these streets until I physically can't compete anymore. It's just where I belong.... and when I'm too old to race, I'll start helping the young guys.

We did a 30 car cash days in DFW a few years back, prob the biggest race that has gone down on the street in DFW sense the 2017 race def the biggest I have had a car at. Ryan Mitchell has won a lot of races in DFW when he was twin turbo big block.. but that dude wins everything he enters..

I like the car videos but Chief just has the right storytelling voice for videos like these. Some of the best podcasts were him talking about the trip with his dad or Bristol, the energy just makes you want to keep listening/watching. And you two compliment each other so well, especially when something strikes a nerve with Jackie and she perks up. Enjoy all the content, regardless of how you share it. Keep up the great videos!

Me and Ronnie P. are from the same town. We've met, but I wouldn't say we really know each other. It seems like back in the day he ran around in a black Camaro; maybe a '68ish with stuff hanging out of the hood. It always amazed me how he made it all over town and never overheated that I could tell. It wasn't common to see something that rowdy out on the road back then.

Yup, she gave him a half chewed ham sammich there, and brought him a bite of street racing reality of just treating it as 1 road, 1 race, his own, screw that other car, that other driver, that other lane, your race in the streets is run against just you and the street...If you cannot get down your lane, you cannot win any drag race. Horse blinders " blinkers" are needed, race the road first.

Losing sucks for sure. But the cars in one piece. Everybodies still in one piece and nobody or the car had to go to jail. It is obvious yall are happier doing your own thing instead of tv. It's easy as hell to be one of the crowd but few people understand how much work, time and effort goes into being the person that the crowd comes to see. Jackie is a blessing. Most people dont know just long we've been street racing in Dallas.. I remember my first street race when I was 17 years old, Bearfoot wasn't even old enough to drive back then but that was the first night I met Gaylyn Smith. He was driving a 68 Camaro called Nightmare, the actually belonged to someone else but Nobody could hang with him in that car back then so he ended up running motorcycles alot. Man that was a long long time ago!! Boy how things have evolved. Makes feel old as shit... lol Love you guys! Keep on posting

When you talk about the first outlaw Armageddon my dad, younger brother and I drove down there from Illinois to that and the 2nd. It was a good time. Really got my brother into cars and created a bond for us and him and dad more than they had. Now he’s 19 with a 600hp mustang for a daily and building our dads regal with him to go race small tire.

I love the other videos too, but this is a good format for information and/or recaps, etc. EDIT: You made the TV show great, I quit watchin all that garbage when you left, because you were the only thing left worth to make it watchable. The drama and BS is for Real Housewives, not an automotive show. I miss nothing about the show anymore, now that y'all are putting out such great content.

I’ve been so busy lately That till this weekend I didn’t have time to get caught up on your videos (and I feel absolutely shitty about taking this long to catch up cause I try and support your channel as much as I can) so I’m three weeks late to the party but I’ll say I love this style of video as much as the tech and testing videos. I caught up on all the content filled videos I could before I actually had to do something with my day and then got to this video where I could throw in my headphones and listen while I loaded firewood and what not, then flipped it over to the truck and could listen while I was driving to where I had to be. As always you guys did an awesome job and it made my day/drive that much more enjoyable. Keep up the amazing work and personally I’ll watch whatever videos you throw our way!

I got the Bluetooth, and good data. But I go over mountain passes in the PNW where I loose phone reception. And I download podcasts on podbean so I have something to listen to.

Great show Chief and Jackie and Congrats to Bryan Chuckie Davis on the win. A show with BCD would be pretty cool as he’s become one of my “show” favorites. I think a weekly or bi-weekly show with a special guest would be a good thing. It may be the start of something special but who knows. Ya know… Thanks guys

Same here. I was going to Rankin in the 90s here in Houston, before that in the 80s/early 90s it was at Hobby and Cherry Hill. The city of Houston built a Task Force in the late 90s and their only job is to find street races. One kid on a motorcycle got killed and it was really because of some dipshit in his mom's minivan. So then they started the Task Force and it still to this day really puts a lid on Houston's street racing scene.

@@davidblain2714 I had a buddy that had a sleeper Fox Body Mustang. It was a sleeper because it was a convertible with the stock Pony rims so everyone underestimated it. This was mid/late 90s in Ocala. That Mustang ran 9.0s in street trim on street tires. It was sneaky. That part of Florida has always had a good core group of fast street cars.

@@davidblain2714 It was a red one! Jay Carter owned it back when I knew him in the late 90s/early2000s. What people didn't know about Jay was that he was a wizard with EFI tuning. Most people are just now catching up to his tuning skills today, 20+ years later. Back then he had to burn chips and install them, not just a software flash. So he came up with 8, 16 and even 32 position switchable chips. He made a 16 position chip for my Grand National and 1 was a Kill Switch, 2 was valet mode, 3 was wife mode, 4 was stock, 5 was stock +2-3 PSI boost, 6 was +2-3psi and a degree or two of timing etc etc. It was ahead of it's time and there still isn't anything quite like it. He would make them without even breaking a sweat. It's crazy that you ran into that same car. It had a white top and he switched it to black when someone tried to cut it open to break into the car. Or maybe it was black to white, can't remember. It's funny because that's the reason you couldn't remember which top it had, because it actually changed. That car had a KenneBell supercharger with a custom alky kit that sprayed at high boost because he was so "sleeper" that he was fast on pump gas!

Love this! More podcast style videos like this would be cool! Could bring in guests and just shoot the breeze for an hour or two. I hear theres some dude who recently won a cash days? He could be funny to invite 😂 The current mix of testing videos and technical/mechanical stuff is really good and this is a great addition!
