Jeanne and David found another of the many tips that they share with students that they haven't shared on video, so here it is. We hope you're having fun with your stained glass adventures.
We film with eye shields and safety guards removed.
You should have all safety attachments in place and
wear a respirator when cutting and grinding. Use all
precautions to insure your personal safety.

I live in a village in Saskatchewan Canada (Aylesbury) . Our community had a small introductory class and wow such a gem finding your channel for the follow up and studies. When I get going I'll have some great insight including building a shop table! Thanks a bunch.

Always appreciate your helpful hints. I see you have some large gaps that when I have such I have problems with the solder running through to the other side and then back and forth as I try to clean up. What is the best way to handle the gaps?

Usually just a quick pull of solder across the gap leaves a bridge which can be filled even more. On the rere occasion that I find a long linear ga (usually on 3D stuff) I'll run and extra piece of foil along the gap and then solder as normal.

This is amazing…so beautiful..regarding the brass wool used to clean, do we combine with water or used just straight no more sponge with water ? Keep on you good work ..thanks

Just use the brass wool, it's abrasive nature will work well
