Ideas for France Renault AMC 6x6 IFV (Elbit UT-30 30mm canon with x2 ATGM and panoramic thermals) EBR FL3 (normal turret) AMX 13 with early S530 twin 20mm (SPAA to replace the DCA 40) (no radar) AMX 10 C (RC hull, but with tracks from P), the modified french M47 with french 105mm, the GIAT modified T55 with french 105mm, the AMX 40 with 105 turret (stabilized) the AMX 32 with 105 turret (2 of them) (stabilized) the swiss mowag Shark with french FL20 (stabilized) the TDM10 (SA50) (french M10 with a SA50) the modified GMCs with x4 20mm flakvierling (20 made post war)

It would be grate to see the Vickers MBT Mk.IIIM, Chieftain mk11 and Challenger 1 with the Falcon turret. As they all fill gaps in the UK tree.

Great video! A suggestion you may be interested in, the LAV-700 (Cockerill 3030). It's an evolution of the LAV III/Stryker, with a 30 or 40mm cannon, and 1 or 2 BAYONET ATGMs in a fully stabilized turret. It's made in Canada (for WT purposes the UK), and has been exported to Saudi Arabia.

FV4401 Contentious would be a fun event vehicle. It's kind of a mix between an Strv 103 and an M56 scorpion.

Battletech arguably has less consistent art than even 40K. Maybe you're talking about HBS's Battletech specifically and I guess that narrows it down, but still there's not a "definitive" version of basically anything like there is for a Leman Russ or Scorpion. Any judgements that would require looking at armor slopes, ride height, room for gun depression, etc would essentially be for one of like ten entirely different tanks with the same alleged statline. This is in addition to Battletech having a lot of justifications for things in obscure lore that work as excuses for weird design choices and game rules that don't align with reality, like the whole "oh, well, in the future armor got so good that you can't pierce it without breaking it first so that's why it works as a health bar instead of a damage modifier" thing that also explains why nearly every weapon that isn't a laser is rapid-fire. These raise questions in and of themselves, but it wouldn't be fair to judge its designs without factoring them in. Plus I don't wanna put words in his mouth but I think Battletech might just kinda, like, make him angry. The treatment of tanks vs mechs is hilariously one-sided. Like a video dissecting Battletech's underlying logic would probably have more material.

@@sparepartssparepartsempori519 while it's notable for specifying that its AC/20s fire 185mm shells at a low rate when so many other units just leave it ambiguous, the problem is that the general consensus still isn't specific enough to get things like the slope of the front plate or height beyond it being less than or equal to one level or 7m (which is a wide margin for tanks). Really all we have is a four-track twin-gun 80 tonne 54kph tank with abnormally short effective range and no coax MG. Further design details are beyond the depth of what I could get by browsing Sarna. Past that, like, yeah, there's some common themes- a dome-shaped turret and over-under guns- but the shape of the UFP, ride height, room for breech depression/elevation, engine intakes, and so on require specific references, and keep in mind a lot of fandoms feel strongly about this, so whatever one you choose is going to yield some salt along the lines of "oh, that was the *bad* art!" In addition, of course, to the usual pile of comments saying that it was a genius design either way and we should build two million IRL. You kinda got to design the best version of the Demolisher around those common themes by yourself if you want it to actually make a satisfying video, which I guess is a valid approach, but doesn't really solve the problem of inconsistent official art.

As much as I'd think that'd be cool. But feel somewhat out of place, ot at least see something niche that I'm in to.

7.7-8.3? The Spahpanzer I C is arguably even less effective than the Ru-251. Less armour, less speed, similar firepower. It should be at like 6.7.

@@Priceeee Somewhat if we leave all the variants in, otherwise they will just end up like china or lesser italy especially in lower tier where it will be a mix of german, US, and Italian tanks and improvised vehicles, their navy would also be a mess as low tier could only be improvised gunboats and disguised raiders which are questionable in terms of implementation. Otherwise they would also have major holes with in parts of trees without the variants, their helicopter might as well just be russian with a few french thrown in while their aircraft would by horribly empty or with only stock british and russian planes (and few of those) with rank V (or maybe high IV) being their original strike aircraft and light fighters

My area of expertise lies in American tanks. It isn't shocking that I feel more confident suggesting the vehicles I am most familiar with.

@@Spookston sure, but I watched all of your videos of this series and I think I have never seen a vehicle from UK, Italy, Sweden, JApan or China. 5 nations out of 9 is quite restrictive for a series like yours. I’m a fan, but I’m my opinion at least 1 vehicle per nation should be talked about (not per video, but in the whole series)

The HIMAG unfortunately wouldn't be a practical vehicle for War Thunder, it was only capable of carrying six rounds of ammunition at a time.

It had a hydropneumatic suspension like a Challenger. Nothing with steering the height of the vehicle.
