More than 27K Oakland A's fans show up for reverse boycott urging owner to sell team 

This made me tear up a little and I’m not even an A’s fan. Seeing a passionate fan base get screwed by their owner is the absolute worst. Coming from a former St. Louis Rams fan, we feel you Oakland. Sell the team Fisher!!

Hello. I'm a lifelong Dodger fan since the mid 70's. I've been riveted by the criminal act by the Fisher/Kaval gangster group. I absorb every news bit on RU-vid regarding this terrible act. At the end of this clip I got emotional. I live in the Kern County area, otherwise I would've come up there to support the Oakland fans. It just came to me that if the A's left and the market became sole property of the Giants, one of the best natural rivalries in baseball would be dead. Here's what I think: The Giants fans and franchise should support the A's fans by doing another reverse boycott where it would take place on an AWAY GAME for the Giants. That way the SF fans could show support and really pack that Coliseum. The MLB Commissioner ManFraud and the rest of the owners are making a huge mistake by being allowing this to happen. Let the A's go, but make Fisher leave the name in Oakland. Money isn't the problem there. It's Fisher. Go A's.

I am also thinking of going to an A's game and to protest against the team leaving the Bay Area. Oakland, 10 years ago, had the Warriors, Raiders, and A's. And by a few years, it will have no professional sports teams which is super sad because Oakland fans were very hard core about their teams. Its a disgrace to the fans. Its totally unfair.

I wonder if the team knows how hot Las Vegas gets in spring-summer.-fall. My understanding is that the LV new stadium will have a partial roof so no temp control (?), and there aren’t many days in season in LV that you could stand sitting outside or playing ball outside. Ive lived there and you go from AC car to AC interior. It can be over 110 degrees frequently. The A’s are used to Oakland with its natural bay cooling.

Giants fans make the local news when Oracle Park only has 27,000 + fans. The local media thinks the Giants are having attendance problems when this happens. The A’s make the local news when the Coliseum has 27,000 + fans, as if it is some sort of grand accomplishment.

It’s a business, not a community service! Sad fact is that crusty old stadium was operating in the red. This stadium was notorious for being empty with bleachers that were falling apart. Reality is, it wouldn’t be the same in Vegas.

A simple search will show two things that aren’t on the fans side: 1. The A’s actually made the postseason in 2018, 2019, and 2020 2. Attendance was at the bottom these years also. You don’t support your home team even if they put up a good team. You deserve to lose them…

My college University of Arkansas had a higher baseball attendance average all year long than the As did 💀 of course they’re going to relocate the team. And ofc once they announce the news all the so called “fans” come out

Not sure who is pushing this. But, they (A’s) will have to move, regardless. There is no market in Oakland. It has nothing to do with ownership. These people are oblivious.
