This is part one of a three part video series covering the Ferrum Audio stack. Ferrum Audio crawled out of the molten iron a few years ago and has since been churning out some pretty fantastic audio gear. The OOR is a small form factor, fully balanced, solid state amplifier with a sleeper design that hides all the hardware under the hood.

I'm slightly concerned about the Cor-ten steel. This is a steel thatt is designed to rust and protect it's core. It's amazing ,expensive and i have a huge BBQ grill made out of it. However, I'd be concerned with it being in contact with any other steel without the contact points being protected. Also, this maybe the angle, but my OCD would hate those switches. They appear that the "standby" and 0 are not TDC and are little leaning to the right. I'd love the whole stack in the Hypnos I think it looks amazing, but too many ££££ for me.

The corten logo is sealed and isolated, so no concern for it spreading to the rest of the chassis. And yes, the angle does make it look like the knobs and labels don't align, but I can assure you that they do. Weird camera distortion.

@Marslander Thanks for the reply. I think I'll stick to the Burson Soloist 3XGT, and upgrade my SMSL D1se to the Gustard R26 even tho the Ferrum might drive my Tungstens when they arrive The Ferrum looks is not quite worth the looks, but internally, its appears to be VERY well put together.

@@invisiblekid99 Burson and SMSL is a very solid setup. And yes, I'm the first to admit the Ferrum aesthetic doesn't really match the price of entry, but they do definitely look very good as a stack.
